Tilda

I only have the one Tilda stamp (thankyou Jules for letting me have ) and here she is. I just felt like doing a spot of colouring with my Derwent Water Colour pencils whilst waiting for the drainage contractors to turn back up today.
'Big Bertha 2 ' spent 3 hours yesterday finally clearing the blockage out on the main road.  The Doc requested them back today to make sure that the two drains on our property were completely clear which thankfully they were.  So we can  now enter 2017 flushed with success  so to speak!
Now onto my card.
Coloured using my pencils and a water filled pen brush.  Base card is made from green cardstock and the papers are from my stash. I have no name for the backing sheet with the bird on but think it was a gift sent by a fellow blogger when doing a swap. The paper peeking out from behind Tilda is a freebie from Making cards Magazine Aug 2012 the Nancy Watt collection called 'Summer Ladies'. All the embellishments I found when sorting out a box of  oddments  of this and that.
The photo above was taken using flash but it has just caught the tip of her bow and is not showing the true colours. The photo below is without flash but is a lot duller. Can't win at the moment taking photos inside.

Well that is one more than I own, never been that keen on them but my Sister loved them and she had and actually still has ever though she gave up card making a couple of years ago.
Lovely colouring and a great design.
To colour my peel offs I use either Sharpie pens or I have some very old peel off marker pens but they are hit and miss now I have had them that long
Hope the Doc has found his hard hat.
Happy New Year.

I love the blush on her cheeks, that is gorgeous. Don't be afraid to take your shading a little deeper. It can get lost otherwise, especially in photos. This is a fab card, I think you did a great job xx

Superb pencil coloring - and I love the color choices. The background bits are just so pretty with this little Tilda, and I am loving all the texture. Glad that the drainage issues are handled properly, and hope the rain has subsided. We did drive in a lot of heavy, hard rain and when that eased up, then we had a 'fog' of some sort, that impaired visibility. Then about 2 hrs south of home, got in standstill traffic for about 1 3/4 hrs, but at least prior to that, traffic was not bad, since it was a Holiday Sunday. Thankful to arrive home safely, after a lovely time with the kids, and some terrific weather. Gloomy & chilly in SC today. Happy New Year, and hope the Elves are either back at their home, or behaving properly as you'd have them to do! Hugs & TFS

Hi Mrs A so glad that Big Bertha 2 was able to finish what Big Bertha could not. Never a dull moment your way, even minus two elves of a doubtful helpful nature.
Lovely use of Tilda. Would you believe I've two Magnolia stamps, have watercoloured them but never ever carded them that I can recall. Love all your snippets.
