More Accordions

I have had to take it easy this week and stay off my main computer as much as possible as my shoulder is painful when typing so the following cards have taken rather a long time to make and get posted.
I have made tutorials for them which you will find  as usual over on the Butterfly Blog on the card shapes page under the blog header.

First card is a fairly straight forward  accordion style notelet which folds flat with a belly band closure. You can make these any size you like. This one is quite small and ideal for popping in with  gift.
I have used the following form the Butterfly Wheel:
Accordion Card/Apple Blossom/Aquamarine / Butterfly.

The digi  paper I have used is by Cuddly Buddly called Pretty Mix Blue no 8 and is the company that I have chosen for the gift certificates for the current  Butterfly challenge.
The die cut is from Spellbinders A2 'Foral Ribbon Threader' and the stamped butterfly a freebie from a 34 piece stamp set  in  'Paper Crafter Magazine' some time ago.  Pink butterfly is an SU punch.
I printed the sentiment in word and cut out individually, layering on plain cardstock before attaching to each page to spell out the word as the accordion is opened  up. the butterfly has a coating of wink of stella and really sparkles in the light.
Entering this card into the following challenges:

Second card opens up like a normal card but inside it has the Wow Factor that you are just not expecting.
I have used the following from the Butterfly Wheel:
Accordion Card/Any patterned paper x2/Apple Blossom/Aquamarine /Apricot/ Butterfly.

This front one is BitsofIvory 'Warm Diamonds'  Back page digi design is by Barbara Anne williams from here Wee Ones Brights set 'Aqua Spots' I have coloured the images using my Graph'it pens.. Last card is using a digi Lilyboo Designs 'My New Easter Bonnet' from Buddly crafts. I fell in love with this image and just had to buy it and colour her up.
I have used the following form the Butterfly Wheel:
Any Design paper x2/Aquamarine / Butterfly.

Coloured with my Graph'it markers. the sentiment is by Kanban Crafts from their clear stamp set 900543. Digi  papers are We Ones Brights ' Linen and Aqua Stripes' by Barbara Anne Williams and  Buddly Crafts Pretty Mix blue no 4 wit(h the butterflies on it).

B is for:

Ha!. bet you all thought I was going to say Butterflies!!!! Well your wrong.
B is for Beach huts, Boat and Bunting.

Allsorts Challenge are asking for things beginning with B on your creations and this stamp that I had pulled out to use on a couple of other challenges just fits the bill perfectly.
Country View Challenges are saying Do what makes you happy. Getting out my watercolours makes me happy.
Moving Along With The times are asking for At The Beach.
Hero Arts Stay Crafty Challenge is asking for One Layers Cards.

The stamp is a Michael Powell image and I think this is only it's second outing even though I have had the stamp for a good number of years. I have used my Caran D'Ache watercolours and stamped out onto watercolour card that I have scored in half to make a one layer  basecard. A bit of doodling around the edge when the card was dry and I called it done.

Every Things Coming Up Daisies

I blinked and whoosh it's Thursday already. I braved the outside World on Monday for the first time since lock down and had a Dentist appt. which had been cancelled since March, rebooked and cancelled again due to the PPE kit not arriving in time for them to reopen.  I wore my face mask right up until being told to open wide!! Well I certainly do not like the 'New Norm'. Not venturing out again until August which will be for a hair appt. Until then its a paper bag over my head!

My card today is featuring a digi and design paper both from Buddly Crafts  which is the company I am using for the Prizes over on the current  Butterfly Challenge. They really do have some gorgeous papers to choose from and a lovely range of digi stamps too. Three winners will receive gift vouchers and  be able to select what they want from the site.

Design paper is called Pretty Mix  no13 and what I like about digi products is the ability to size up and down as you require. On this card I have sized the paper to be half a foolscap sheet (which is behind the image  and then a whole sheet  on the card base. I fell in love with this digi stamp. she is called Island Girl by Kim Macfarlane and this image is called ' Coming up Daisies'.  Reminds me so much of a certain little girl when she was growing up! I split the base paper diagonally and inserted  a green cardstock strip mainly to tie in with the colour of the watering can. I normally colour first and then go and hunt down papers to match but today I knew which colours I needed to use to go with my chosen paper.

Coloured with my Graph'it pens and then a silver gel pen around the edges which you can see in the picture below  where I tilted the card and used the flash on my camera. I had a little spool of  left over green thread that matched perfectly so decided to stitch around the edge of the image. Halfway round it suddenly dawned on me that I might not have enough thread left  (and just like knitters go into a frenzy to knit to the end of a row before the wool runs out) I hurried round  to finish with just enough. Phew!! Sentiment is generated in word and printed off.
Entering this card into the following challenges:

4 Christmas Trees.

I definitely do not know where the time is going but the girls in the Christmas Card club need to show our latest makes. Shaz chose the theme of Christmas Trees. I have taken that to be decorated ones for inside.

My first two cards are using images from LOTV Art Pad Set 14 Festive Foliage which I still have a few left.
I do like to see plaid paper on christmas cards and this card is using a digi paper by Nitwits from their Holly Jolly Frolics set by Mary Fran. I die cut  the coloured image using Tattered Lace Rounded Corner rectangles 440803.The card base is made from green cardstock and I just layered up for dimension. The silver stickers are from my stash.

This card uses another Nitwits dig paper this time from their Christmas Linen Too 'Tartan Green'
by Mary Fran. Again I went for the layered look. The silver sentiments from my stash. I used a die cut by Nellie Snellen 'Nellies Multi Frames MFD088 Straight Dotted Rectangle.

Last two cards are using images from Hunkydory's Little Book of Sparkling Season.
This card is using 2 different  digi plaid papers. One by Cardmaking Downloads called Goblin Market pink and blue plaids set  and one by CraftsUprint called Funky Plaid Green.  By using digi papers I can make the size of the plaid to suit the card that I am making. Here I have only printed out onto half of a foolscap page, turned and printed the second onto the other half. They both worked perfectly with this funky fairy.  I gave her wings, crown and the baubles on the tree a coating of Wink of Stella which is not showing up here. I used the cut out from the card above to make the frame.  Silver stickers from my stash.

This last one is my favourite.  The digi papers are by Nitwits 'Crossteal' and 'Snowflake Steal' both by Mary Fran from their Christmas too set.  Layered up using the same green card stock as the base.  Stickers from my stash.
