I have gone with using both wet and dry embossing as my main element along with several other forms of adding texture to my card.
I have used cardstock to make my base card using two shades of purple. The next layer is hand made paper using the 'Shaving Foam ' technique and distress re inkers. Edges of paper have been distressed and then I have further hand stitched a border for extra texture. White card has been dry embossed using an embossing folder from a folder and stamp set called ' Design -a-flower' which came free with a craft magazine called 'Paper Craft Essentials'. The sentiment (from the same set) has been embossed using 'Wow' silver embossing powder. Finally I have coloured the embossed element of the flower design using my 'Derwent' Watercolour pencils.

Your stitched border looks so effective Valery and frames the pretty flowers perfectly, it's nice little reminder of warmer days, especially welcome when last nights frost is still sitting heavy in the gardens.
