It is the last day of Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge and here is my card for today.
Day 30 is to Do what You Love. and use the stamps, colours, paper embellishments that you love to create one final card.
The cards that I most love to make are Joy fold cards so here is my card. The images are pre coloured digis by 'Sassy Cheryl' from Paper Creator. The single snowman is called Once Upon A Star and the trio of snowmen 'Hanging Stars'. I have used a gold coloured wooden star attached with a 3D pad on the front to secure the flap shut. The design paper is a freebie from Making Cards Magazine christmas Edition 2018. (I do like to use freebies where possible as it leaves me more pennies for the dearer must have items and when I do whether it be papers or digi images, list where they have come from and give credit to the suppliers/artists).
This is the card opened up. I do also love to add the extra gift tag inside.
Close up of the inside of the card.

The Post.
So let me recap to this morning when I was having a nice relaxing soak in the bath and there was a pounding on the front door. The Doc was downstairs so said he would see who it was. "It's ok" he said "just some post."
The postman is not generally that noisy but then The Doc said "It wasn't the post man . It's a hand delivery".
Now the neighbours aren't generally that quick off the mark with their cards so I was curious to see who it was from.
Downstairs this is what greeted me.

No absolutely not.
O
U
T
Spells OUT.
Just as I was on the point of throwing the front door open and throwing said Elf out The Doc intervened saying "Don't you think you ought to read the letter first?"
Thanks. Thankyou very much Santa. That's your name struck off my christmas card list!!!
The Doc is now on his 3rd bourbon and I'm knocking back tranquilizers like sweeties.

Twas The Night...........
It is day 29 of Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge and here is my card for today.
Day 29 is to use the letter z
I chose to simply go with Zzzzzzzzzzzz.
I recently won a challenge where I could choose 2 Cute As A Button digi images and this is one of them. I was slightly puzzled when I received the download as the clock appeared to be back to front so I checked on the shop blog and it was showing the same way as the download. To my mind the clock should be telling the correct time so I simply transposed the digi in 'word' and printed off. I created the wording in there too and also printed off.
I have coloured using my promarkers, silver gel pen and dusted over with pearlescent chalk.. Mounted onto green cardstock and a tent fold card made from red card stock.

Abundance of Roses.
Sorry for delay in getting this posted. I hope what I have just had is only a 24hr bug. Was up till 3.30am being sick. Have managed to keep a cup of tea down so will get this up before I try some soup and toast.
Time once more for me to show the next 2 inpsiration cards for the Butterfly challenge.
#112 spin The Butterfly Wheel with the Letter J.
This challenge has extra prizes in it in the guise of Secret Santa Sacks so please do go over and play.
1st card is using Butterfly with Jade and Jewels.
The design paper was just a small piece in my stash with no name but would have been a magazine freebie. The digi image is by Beccy Muir and is called 'Trio of Roses' which I water coloured some time ago now using my Marvy LePlume II pens by scribbling onto an acrylic block and then using a water colour brush to pick up. I fussy cut out the image so more of the back design was visible and you could see the butterflies better. The lace ribbon and glitter sentiment were from my stash.
Entering this card into the following challenges:
Artistic Inspirations #210 Anything goes.
Through The Craft Room Door #Anything goes.
Crafty Creations #379 Anything goes.
Card Mania #110 Lace.
Pattie's Creations #152 Birthdays.
2nd card is using Butterfly with Jazzberry Jam and Joint.
Design paper is from Making Cards Feb 2016 magazine and called February Floral. I have cut using 3 levels of my Xcut Rectangles die and then trimmed plain card stock to be just a bit bigger than the middle two to create the split flower (joint) design. The butterfly is by Cheery Lynn designs from their Tinythings with Wings die set B2666. I was going to add a sentiment but decided it would detract from the layering design. I have added the paper to the inside of the card and will put the sentiment inside. I'm think it would make a nice Valentines card.
If you need a break from making christmas cards then come and play along. The challenge runs for one more week and finishes on Tuesday 4th December 8.00 (GMT). The more entries the more Secret Santa Sacks will be added.

Day 28.
It is day 28 of Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge and here is my card for today.
Day 28 is to use the letter Y
I chose to use Year and Yes!
Not wanting to spend too much time at my desk at the moment as tummy is still grumbling a bit over its upset.
This image is by Bugaloo and is called ' Scarlett Party'. It looks like she can't wait for the New Year celebrations so has started early. She is very definitely a Yes Girl as I have it on good authority that is the third drink that she is on.
Image coloured using promarker pens and my Nuvo Glitter Marker 'Rasberry tart'. I'm saying nothing! Sentiment letters are by Clarity Stamps.

Xmas Wishes
It is day 27 of Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge and here is my card for today.
Day 27 is to use the letter X
I chose to use Xmas and my Xcut Parenthesis Nesting dies.
The design papers are all from a paper pack by 'Kaisercraft ' that came free with Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine several yrs ago now. The sentiment was on one of the design papers in the pack as well. Tiles were part of a packet that I got this yr from the NEC.
I used the off/out cuts of the papers to decorate the inside of the card.

A Bit Woolly
It is day 26 of Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge and here is my card for today.
Day 26 is to use the letter W
I chose to use Wool and Wishes .
This is a 2006 Penny Black Wooden Stamp called 'Spinning a Yarn' and is my favourite fun stamp to use. Coloured using my Promarkers and a gold gel pen. The sentiment is my own and generated in word. (To see what Eric got knitted for him last year please click HERE.)
The design paper is from Making Cards Magazine Christmas Edition 2018 and looks just like a close up of a knitted sweater. The pre printed gold sentiment is from my stash along with the oddment of white wool.

What's my Name.
It is day 25 of Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge and here is my card for today.
Day 25 is to use the letter V
Sometimes the blindly obvious is not so, even when it is under your very nose. I often wonder which planet I'm actually orbiting round as this particular image has been out on my desk for the last few days (waiting for the letter W. ((Wrap up warm)) on Beccy's challenge). I suddenly realised what I was really looking at was a digi image by Mo's Digital Pencil called "Valerie with Pup".
Can someone please remind me who I am !!!!!
So I chose to use Valerie , Vermillion and Verdi.
It is also time once more for the girls in the Christmas Card Club to show our next cards.
Carol chose the theme of All Wrapped up which this digi image is also perfect for using ( two birds with one stone so to speak).
I found the oddment of vermillion/white/black paper in my general stash and decided to colour Valerie using vermillion and green marker pens plus a silver gel pen. Sentiment is an old freebie one which came in a magazine yrs ago.
I'm off to find an image for W now!!
Entering into the following challenges:

Lets go fishing.
It is day 24 of Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge and here is my card for today.
Day 24 is to use the letter U
I chose to use Underneath the ice and Flap Under Card .
The image I am using is a pre coloured one by Dee Dee's digi and is called Daice fishing. Backing paper is a freebie one from Making cards magazine christmas edition 2018. The fold for this card is similar to a gate fold but I have made one fold wider than its counter part by approx 1". The 2" circle die has been layered up with successively smaller circles and the top one has been stamped using a sentiment from crafters Companion 'Nordic Christmas set.' The circle die has been adhered with a 3d pad on the shorter fold in order for the top layer to fold Under.
So lets see what Daice caught when he went fishing Underneath the ice!
The igloo is an embossing folder that was a magazine freebie and came with a set of stamps. I fussy cut the igloo part of the ef out.

Tile It.
It is day 23 of Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge and here is my card for today.
Day 23 is to use the letter T
I chose to use Tree and Tile Effect Card.
Image is from ' Nanna Vic's Digitals' and coloured with my promarkers, silver gel pen and pearlescent chalks. Once coloured in I adhered to cardboard for extra thickness and then on the back divided the image into 1" squares which I then cut up. (it is a good idea to number the squares as it is very easy when you turn them over and seperate to not know where they go ,especially if you have a lot of white space. ) I then marked out the same squares onto green cardstock using my score pal and bone folder. This gives the tile effect spacing between the tiles when you glue them into place. The design paper is a freebie from a recent magazine. The stamped sentiment is by Penny Black from their T for Transparent set.

Case yourself.
Day 22 of of Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge and we were tasked with casing a card of our own that we had made previously.
Now This really did have me running for the hills. I can't case anyone else let alone myself but I dutifully looked through my photo stash and finally came up with this card that I made to send to a friend way back in 2012.
Now This really did have me running for the hills. I can't case anyone else let alone myself but I dutifully looked through my photo stash and finally came up with this card that I made to send to a friend way back in 2012.
Here is the original card Dec 2012
New card Nov 2018
The stamp is by Rogue Redhead Designs and came free with Craft Stamper Magazine. I have coloured using the same promarkers pens and pearlescent chalks which are not showing up but are there IRL. The sentiment is by Phill Martin from his set of Scribled christmas Sentiment Corners.
I have a cousin who has just lost her husband and as we send each other christmas cards I have made this card with her in mind. I don't want to send her something happy and jolly but don't want to not send a card at all so hopefully this card will be ok.

Caught up at last!
Have finally caught up with Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge. Phew! So I'm starting with todays card and working backwards with days 20,19,18.17.
Day 20 is to use the letter R.
I chose to use Red Poinsettia and Rocker card.
Digi image is Poinsettia by Little Claires Designs. Coloured using my promarkers, gold gel pen and then given a light coating of pearlescent chalks which has given the design a lovely sheen.
Rocker card is my own design which has a nifty folding tag inside to hold the rocker open but closes flat for posting and it does rock. Design paper is a freebie from Making Cards magazine Nov 2016. Large circle is my Xcut Circle die, Scalloped circle is by Sizzix and the sentiment circle was punched using my 1.5 circle pinch by woodware.
Entering this card into the following challenges:

Looking through my stash of freebie papers I found this super design paper which just cried out to be used for this letter. Unknown make I'm afraid but would have come from a magazine insert at some time. The huge sentiment/quote stamp is by Docrafts. I added the silver star sticker from my stash.

The ornament image is by Digi Stamps 4 Joy and has been coloured in using my Nuvo Glitter Markers,a silver gel pen and silver pearlescent chalk. Whilst the stripes of papers were still lurking out on my desk I selected 3 colours that were in the ornament colours and created another background. I was originally going to trim the purple ones straight but then had a brain wave(strike whilst the iron is hot) of using top and bottom and thus creating the ornate design . Gives the card a sort of Eastern feel especially with the non traditional christmas colours I have used.

13,14,15,16 Begin again.
Catching up and one last push after this should do it so there are 4 cards today for Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge.
Day 13 was to use the letter K.
Very nearly had me running for the hills as Beccy suggested to use a Kangaroo/Koala and I knew for certain I didn't have a digi or even a stamp come to that of either of them. Now Mum being Australian I thought there must be something in the box of bits and bobs that I had been given over the years and sure enough I found a packet of unused notelet cards . Not very christmassy looking on there own but I had a cunning plan so in the end
I chose to use Kangaroo, Koala and if you look closely a Kookaburra too plus Kraft Card.
The die cuts I have used are Presscut Stitch hole Ref PCD98 Rectangle die for the frame and Ultimate Crafts 'Rustic Christmas' for the embellishments in the corners which have been given a coating of Nuvo Glitter Marker pen Strawberry Bonbon. All cut in Kraft Card as was the base card. Backing design paper is from Making Cards Magazine Dec 2016 called appropriately 'All That Glitters. Sentiment was from my stash. The card was sat made and ready to take a photo of when I decided it needed just that little something extra so I added the pink pearls to the corners.

Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned paper challenge # Anything goes.
Digi Stamps 4 Joy #154 Anything goes +optional add ribbon or lace.
Day 16 was to use the letter N.
I chose to use Nutcracker and Noel.
The pre coloured image was a RAK from a swap blogging friend which I have had in my stash for ages just waiting for the right moment but in a bit of a quandary though as to which papers to use with it. I was idly reading posts this morning whilst having my morning cuppa and spotted a couple of cards that my blogging friend Shaz had entered on Pixies Crafty Workshop Challenge and which Di had highlighted in her winners post. Shaz had used up snippets/strips of coloured cardstock to make whole cards with and this then gave me the idea to use my copious stash of stripes that had been steadily stockpiling up behind my laptop on my desk.

Day 15 was to use the letter M.
I chose to use Mistletoe and Merry.
The digi image is by Just Inklined 'Mistletoe coloured with my promarker pens. The berries have been given a coat of glossy accents so that they shine. The bauble sentiment is by Scrapmatts and made from chipboard. Part of a set of 15 pieces. I won the packet as a prize many years ago and I am now down to the last 2 baubles. I will be sad when they are all gone as they are really good quality. Ribbon bow was from my stash. The kraft window is left over from the card made for the letter K and the design paper is from the same paper pack as the previous card.

These are just a few of them as I only pulled out the brightly coloured ones that shouted toy box colours to me or were colours in the image. I used my wide roll of ds. tape (newly purchased from the NEC) to completely cover the front of a blank card base and then placed the strips in a pleasing arrangement. The large oval was from my stock pile of pre cut shapes and had been cut using my Xcut Oval Nesting die set. The green patterned oval was the left over piece from the Lamppost card above. The 'NOEL tiles were also a recent purchase from the NEC and just finished the card nicely.

10,11,12 Lay Them straight.
A bit of poetic licence going on here with the post titles. If I don't add in an extra number each time I will never catch up so quickly moving onto the next 3 cards for Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge.
Day 10 was to use the letter I.
I chose to use Ice Skating and Ivory.
Now don't ask me why but when I purchased this digi stamp back in Nov 2014 I thought the animal holding onto the girls leg was a pig! It still looked like a pig when I printed it out and so I started coloring up the said pig in pink and it wasn't until I got right down to the tail that I suddenly thought
"Hang on that doesn't much look like a curly tail and those aren't even trotters hanging onto her leg" so I either need a very long holiday or a visit to Spec Savers! Lol. Fortunately a brown promarker quickly corrected my mistake. The image is by Mo's Digital Pencil "Skating" and coloured with my promarkers in blue and Ivory plus brown for thepig/ dog. The die cut is by Spellbinder 'Marvellous Squares and comes with the holes already punched around the decorative edge so I just went round with a needle and ivory thread for some added interest.
