Jasmine and Jazzberry.

Time for a new challenge over on the Butterfly blog. This will be the last  butterfly challenge of  the year but the butterflies will be back  2nd January 2019. As usual the Gnomes and Fairies will be commandeering/helping out for the month of December.

#111 Spin The Butterfly Wheel with the Letter J.  is a bumper edition. Along with the 3 general prizes there will be extra ones in the guise of Secret Santa Sacks.

The wheel this time is Jade/Jasmine/Jazzberry Jam/Jute/Jewels/Joint/Butterfly.

For my first inspiration card I have used all the seven elements above.
The digi image is 'A Wax Window 'from A Day For Daisies.  Coloured using my Promarkers/Graph'it markers along with a gold gel pen and pearlescent chalk on the Jazzberry flowers. Here I have butted up a strip of jade cardstock to the image thus making my joint. Threads of jute have been attached to the strip before adhering to the card base. Jewels and gold sentiment from my stash. The base card is made from cream/J asmine linen cardstock.  Punched butterfly from my stash.

Entering this card into the following challenges:
Creative Moments #157 Anything goes + optional twist use a sentiment.
A Bit More Time To Craft #80 Anything goes
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends #94 Anything goes.

My second card uses Jasmine and Jute along with my butterfly.
The image is from Beccy's Place called 'Magnolia.  Coloured using my Promarker pens ,cream pearlescent chalk and a silver gel pen which isn't showing up very well but does IRL.

Image has been attached to card to strengthen  and then adhered to front of card using 3D pads in order for the strip of Jute to be glued to cardstock behind  Silver sentiment and  punched butterfly from my stash.
Hope these cards have inspired you to play along. The challenge runs for the usual two weeks and I will be showing you two more cards next week with the rest of the elements on.
Entering this card into the following challenges:
Penny's Paper Challenge #407 Anything goes.
Little Miss Muffet #202 Anything goes.
Fussy and Fancy challenge #225 Anything goes.

Wow. Using seven elements on one card is tricky and you nailed it and the card is lovely. I really love the jute adding dimension to your gorgeous second card.

What do porcupines say when they kiss?

Ouch!

The colors are wonderful and both of your cards are stunning! I hope to find time to play along this month in the midst of the big holidays! It's bitter cold here today as well and they're saying it's the coldest Thanksgiving on record in 117 years! Enjoy your day!
