Day 7 was to use the letter F.
I chose to use Feathered Friends and Fancy Flap Fold Card.
The fancy flap wasn't just any old flap oh no, I had the bright idea of using magnets to hold the flap shut. Do I never learn!!!!!! One whole evening later just aligning the magnets up and re doing the card half a dozen times and finally I'm happy with the result. The digi is by From The Heart Stamp .Com called 'Seven Christmas Birds'. Next time I think I will just cook the goose and be done with it. Lol.
Coloured using my Graph'it pens (that was the easy peesy bit) and cut out using my Xcut Rectangle Parenthesis, largest die, The selction of papers used were all freebie magazine sheets in my stash. The die cut Christmas was a Britannia die. I had cut out Merry too but decided it looked too much on the image and took the eye away from the birds who after all were center stage! You know they say never work with animals? Well, never work with birds either. I very nearly gave them a magnet each in their grain to keep em still.
This is the inside of the card.
The outside with the card folded up. The magnets are beneath the red die cut and then on the folded card underneath so that the card snaps shut which it does.
Here is the card folded out.

Day 8 was to use the letter G.
I chose to use Gifts and Gate Fold Card.
I chose to use Gifts and Gate Fold Card.
Digi image this time is by Just Inklined called 'Christmas Birds' and coloured using my Graph'it pens. They were much better behaved as they really only had eyes for each other. I did debate whether to give them googly eyes but after the last card decided to stop whilst ahead. The present dp. is from Making Cards Dec 2016 and the tartan paper is from a First Edition paper pad 'Jingle All The Way.'
I have made my gate fold from cardstock cut to 5" x 10", folded at 2.5 and 7.5 . I do like to give my gate fold cards the addition of a bellly band to close which is what I have done here.

Day 9 was to use the letter H.
I chose to use Ho, Ho, Ho and Heat Embossing.
The digi image is by Bugaboo called 'Stocking Santa Ho.Ho.Ho. Coloured using my Graph'it pens with the addition of a nuvo glitter pen 'Silver Mist' for the fur trim.
Papers are magazine freebies in my stash. The stamp is from a clear stamp set by Docrafts. I have stamped in Versamark and then heat embossed using 'Wow' gold embossing powder which doesn't show up in the photo but is there IRL. The photo edging is from a paper pad Hot Off The Press 'Forever Christmas Cards. I have edged and filled in with a gold gel pen.

What super cute card designs Valery.

It sounds like you had quite a time putting the Day 7 card together Valery. I'm sorry you had so much trouble, but I have to admit that it was an entertaining read! And your fabulous card was well worth the effort, it looks wonderful and will be a really special gift for someone.
Love the colouring on your second card, and the image is really cute! Great choice of patterned papers, the red and pink gifts look very festive. I like that you're holding the card closed with a belly band too.
The sparkle and shine on your third card is fabulous, I particularly like the trim around his hat and tunic. As with the other two cards, you did a fabulous job finishing the inside Valery, it looks just as fabulous as the front!
Well done on all three projects.
Cheers,
Beccy

Another three wonderful cards Mrs A. I can see why you were tempted to add googly eyes to the G card (and googly is another G!). I'm not sure I would have had the patience to complete the first card so Go You. Love that image in the third card - I have it in digital format. Great inners for all your cards too.
Three super cards Valery-Anne and such interesting folds as well, sound time consuiming but the end result very effective. Many thanks for joining in our Christmas theme at Stamping Sensations challenge.
