Patchwork Rudolph

It is the last time this year for the girls in the Christmas Card Club to show our makes. Shaz chose the theme of Use Die Cuts. My card is not very imaginative regards the die cuts but I am killing two birds with one stone (figuratively speaking)  as I quickly made this card this card up Saturday morning as it needed to go in with a parcel I was sending off to America. I had a late night Friday writing out all my cards for abroad so I could take to the post office Saturday afternoon on the way back from having my Flu Jab at the Dr's surgery.  Expect to feel rough for a day or two now so didn't want to sit and make another card so easy peasy die cuts it is.

Image is my own design and the recipient will understand why she is receiving it!! (As soon as parcel arrives at its destination I can show you what else was included) Coloured using my Graph'it pens and three different coloured gel pens. The frame is by Crafts-Too Square Dies Scalloped Edge. The red die cut has been adhered to a green base card that has been 3d by adding thin strips of card stock underneath to raise it up.  Gold sentiment from my stash.

I am scheduling this for Sunday. I had the flu jab put in the opposite arm to my Frozen shoulder but so far it is the frozen shoulder that is beginning to play me up!

The vaccine is on it's way
but until then
Stay safe and well.
Hugs

Great patchwork Deer ValeryAnn. I had no issues at all after my flu jab other than a heaviness in my upper arm for a little while next morning. Take care. Christine x

The image is your own design? Wow! Really lovely and fun! The recipient will be so happy to receive your card!
Please, be careful with the new vaccine and wait to see what happens, it isn't tested enough and could cause severe damages. Scientists are hardly debating about it. Pharmaceutical business aren't thought for people's health, but for their own money. In fact they say don't want to take any responsibility for any consequence.

You are so clever to design this! It is adorable and I can't wait to see what went with it. I'm sorry you are still dealing with your shoulder and the pain. I'm glad you got the flu shot, that is so important this year especially.

What a lovely reindeer Mrs A, a very clever design. Hope your arm is okay after your flu jab. When I had mine this year, I was told I was now eligible for the pneumonia jab, so I had a jab in each arm! xx

Hi Valerie, wow, aren't you resourceful! Love the patchwork reindeer, what a fabulous idea! Isn't it odd how the flu jab can make your arm ache? Ive had one for the last few years and it's been fine, this years really made my arm sore for days- especially when I turned over and lay on it at night! Beautifully made card. Huge Christmas hugs, Shaz.
