Oh I want to play with feathers! How fun.
that monkey is awesome Mrs. A! he's got character which, in a softie, is absolutely required!
Love the colours you are playing with on your desk and I see lots of gorgeous lace :)
Have a great WOYWW,

Great work - but so early! I know I get up early but still! Love your work you have going on.
Love the colour you've chosen for your fan - looking at all the things on your desk, it's going to be fan-tastic!!! (couldn't resist, sorry!)
First I though Monkey was playing cops and robbers at a crime scene, but no, it looks like he might be getting a mate sometime soon! Together, they'll both get into real mischief! Look forward to seeing what you make.
Ahhh...you're up early like I am - it's always nice and quiet and I can get my head around things. Later in the day, I'm no good at all. I thought at first it were tags you were making but fans...ooh, I can't wait to see those lovely creations! Ooooh...the monkey! OMGoodness, I had no idea you had to start from scratch and trace the pattern. WOW! You really ARE the Queen of Sewing - just from that you can make a pattern? I feel so bad about my request ...I've got to find some way to make up for it...would a little bit of chocolate and other goodies work? I'll have to send you a goody basket before the week's out. Doh! Me and my big mouth! Thank you for accommodating me!! :-) I hope it's for me! LOL! :0
Love the monkey, I think my son has one in his beddroom somewhere amongst the junk! Hugs Pam x

Hi Mrs A
Too early for me and you are very resourceful. I expect you plan to dress up your 'dolls' when you have finished making them.

OMG! Poor Monkey! I bet he was terrified. Are you planning on sewing more monkeys or making him some clothing! 5am was about the time I went to bed. Thanks for sharing! Vickie #69
That monkey is a scream! It took me a bit before I realized what he was doing because I was so focused on your work - DUH! Thanks for sharing. Janice #100
Hi there Mrs A. I too thought that monkey had been chosen to be part of CSI! Glad he was not injured in any way, but are you certain about the ethics and legality of cloning?
The fans look interesting too.
Thank you for visiting my blog and your comment, I agree, I would not take out a subscription just to get a "freebie" but I buy the magazine each month and I love CI so it succumbed to the offer! At least I know I have something to look forward to in the post box each month now!
5am is a great time to be up...if you are a milkman! I will look forward to seeing a finished fan x
5AM? Good grief, thought we got up early! Good luck with the fan, it takes me ages to do the embillishy bits! Hope monkey's over the shock of seeing body parts first thing!
Hi Mrs A
It's me again.
Thanks for your comment and question. No, I don't have a melty pot...I am and always will be low tech. I just use what I have at home. I used the oil burner and put the paint block on the top.
I like to improvise but most importantly I am too mean to spend any money...so I will never make any progress!!!
Take care and best wishes

Love the fan idea - will be around to see how it progresses. Thanks for sharing.

And you're not behind on your cards, you just haven't made as many as you'd like! I'm sorry you're having a tough time right now; I'll be thinking good thoughts for you.

Hi Mrs A,
Love your fan as I have checked out your next post! Simply gorgeous! What is that monkey up to? It all looks highly suspicious to me!
I ended up working 3 days in a row and I am exhausted. Not surprising since it has been 6 years since I last worked as a teacher. My voice needs to be re-trained as it is not used to 3 days of constantly talking! The icing on the cake is I received a paycheck! Woo hoo! I haven't earned a wage for a long time so it feels like Christmas! I am going shopping on my next work and child free day!
