Bow Front Cards.

Time for a new challenge and a new set of the Alphabet over on the Butterfly Blog.We are now on the letter B.
#145 Spin The Butterfly Wheel with B for Bow Fronted  Card.

Here are my inspiration cards for you.  As usual you will find the tutorials for making these cards over on the Butterfly Blog under the tab Card Shapes. We are getting a nice collection of card shapes on there now and you are free to browse and make cards from the instructions  given.

This card uses Version I

I am using from the wheel:
Bow Front shape Card
Theme: Buttons (real or faux).
Colour: Buttermilk
Colour: Beau Blue (is a hint of azure.)
Butterfly

The digital design paper is by Prima 'Sun Kiss' no 5 from Snap Click Supply Co. who are the company that the prize certificates for the winners of the Butterfly Challenge will be from. I have used faux buttons for this card and die cut three for each button and glued together to make sturdy. Finished with matching thread. The sentiment is Birthday wished by Kaisercraft.

The card opens up conventionally for a greeting to be enclosed.

 Also folds flat for posting.

My Second  card uses Version II

I am using from the wheel:
Bow Front shape Card
Theme: Buttons (real or faux).
Colour: Buttermilk
Colour: Burgundy
Butterfly

This card opens up a bit like a gatefold card with a row of buttons which each side tucks under to stay closed. The right hand side is the bow front section of the card.
I have used my beloved acetate for the aperture window.
The paper is again from Snap Click Supply Co. and is by Jodie Lee from her Rustic Shabby Papers Set. I have teamed it with burgundy cardstock.  The sentiments are by Kaisercraft. the buttons this time are real wooden ones that I coloured with my Burgundy Promarker. The butterflies are my go to Memory Box 'Pippi and Isabella'.

Hope to see you over at the butterfly challenge which will again be running for 3 weeks.

Stay safe and well.
