Partridge in a Pear Tree.

There haven't been any  Christmas type swaps this year that have caught my eye so I decided  to challenge myself to see if I could come up with a set of cards for the 12 days of Christmas. I also decided to use digi's for the design and use a different web site/shop for each of them.
So without further ado here is my card for The first day of  Christmas.
A Partridge in a Pear Tree.

Digi image by Stitchy Bear
Coloured in using Graph'it pens and a gold gel pen.
sentiment generated in word.
Mounted onto thick  yellow card and then  gold shimmer paper.

Lovely card there Mrs A! Lovely colours and great colouring in!
The good thing about having a partridge in a pear tree for a pressie is you get to eat the partridge for dinner and the pears for pudding! Delicious!

You're always so clever Mrs. A with crafting and I'm sure so many other things. The card is really lovely with the wonderful colors - you're an amazing woman! Thanks for stopping by and leaving such wonderful words on my blog...makes me smile. Sorry I've not been commenting but I've been looking (working in the wee hours - grave shift, is tiring on me...but crafting requires the green back) and you inspire me to do the little things I do...yay! :-)

Beautiful pears, they'd be a bit frosted here though as it's below freezing and snowing lightly!

I've been very naughty about visiting you, what with Thanksgiving and now Christmas prep, so I've had a lot of catching up to do with you, Mrs. A! I loved starting at the current bird card and coming back to the beginning here! What a great idea your self-imposed challenge is, and your cards depicting the 12 days have been fantastic!! Keep up the great work!! I have to get back to making cards to send since I'm far behind (Talk about naughty! It's not like I have much else to do with my days!), but I'll be back to see how you finish up the series! Hugs, Darnell
