All Red!

Oops late to the party again but in my defence I have made 6 cards and it was too late last night to take any good photos so I waited until this morning.  It's time for the girls in the christmas Card Club to show our next cards. The theme was set by Lorraine who asked for 'Use minly Red' so I did.

Sorted through all my boxes and turfed anything out that was red and ended up with a goodly pile of assorted papers, images and ribbons. Here are the six cards I managed.

First card using a Sassy Cheryl pre coloured digi image called Figure Eight Style from Paper Creator. The papers which you can't see much of on the outside but they are inside are both  by Nitwits,'Weave Red' from their Jolly Holly Frollics set and  'Ticking Russet' from Christmas Too. The ribbon was from a box of chocolates (long gone). I just love the expression on her face. Sentiment from a red sticker set.

Second card using another Sassy Cheryl pre coloured digi image called Decked out for the Holidays from Paper Creator. The check paper is a freebie from Making Cards magazine Christmas edition 2015. Die cuts are from Julie Hickey's Layers,Frames & Banners rectangle set.  Red sentiment  from a glossy sticker set.  I tired over ten times to get a good picture of the tartan paper but this is the bet I could manage. for some reason it would not lighten up either inside in several places around the house or in desperation out in the summer house.

Third card using freebie papers from Making Cards magazine Christmas Papercraft special 2017.
The jar with the sentiment already printed was one of the papers too.  Red ribbon made into a faux bow completed this tent fold card.  A nice easy and quick card.

Fourth card has a topper on it that I have had in my stash for yrs and yrs. The packet had over forty different  cardboard shapes and came as a freebie in a magazine.  All the backing papers are freebies from magazines which I have made into a sunburst design. A scrap of red card stock and silver sentiment stickers completed the card.

Entering this card into the following challenges:
Scraps of Life by Scrappymo # Rudolph day challenge.
Pixie's Crafty Workshop #385  Use your snippets. (Yes Miss).

Fifth card using up a scrap of christmas wrapping paper that I especially liked the design of and salvaged from a present years ago too. I thought it went rather well with the freebie wreath design that came along with some papers from Making Cards magazine Christmas edition 2015. (I do hoard things for a long time it seems.) Red sentiment and stars from a sticker set.

Sixth card using up more freebie magazine papers  and a sentiment die cut pre printed on paper from Making Cards magazine  Hunkydory  Dec 2015. Ribbon was the remains cut off from the  bow used on the first card.

Hope this little selection of Red cards fits the bill.

You have been so busy and have created such beautiful cards. Loved them all but that first one sure caught my eye! I think it is the look on her face, but she is very eyecatching. Loved the chocolate box ribbon tied on the angle too!

Thanks for taking part in the August Rudolph Days Challenge.
