Whatever the Weather

I just wish the British weather would make up its mind.  Yesterday it rained almost all day Today is sunny but very cold  and the heating can't decide whether it should be on or off.  I have been meaning to make this card for a while as the bits were out on my desk. ready to go.

The image is this month's freebie from Pattie's Creations and as soon as I saw it I knew I had just the paper in my stash to go with it.  The paper is another freebie from Making Cards Jul 2013 'Up in the Air'. Coloured using my promarkers and a silver gel pen.  The sentiment was created in word and printed out.  I mounted the image onto thick card stock and distressed round the edges . Used some more of the design paper for the inside of the card which you can just see below.

Entering into the following challenges:
Patties Creations #205 Anything goes.
I Spy with My Little Eye #2 April showers or May flowers.
Get Creative #120 Spring time blues.
Fab n Funky #571 Umbrellas and or flowers.

A perfect April's card Mrs A, love the sweet blues and the image.
Here in Italy the weather in these days is very different depending on the area: I have a summer sun, very hot, and no rain for many months just now. In other areas further south instead there was snow and a lot of hail. A disaster for agriculture.

What a cute image with those wellies and colorful umbrella. I just love those fun papers too. The ends of the clouds look like tiny hearts :)

That sentiment says it all! A lovely card and the paper is perfect for the scene. We are having the same weather. Last Saturday is was 80 and sunny. Monday it was a wind chill of 28 and oh, so cold. Rain and cloudy all week. It's like being on a roller coaster.

Hi Mrs A,
what a wonderful card and it goes so well with the weather we are having.
Love the image and your colouring of it.
Great papers used also.
I think the plants don't know wether they are coming or going with all the different weathers we are having my Magnolia tree was so late flowering this year and the flowers not as nice too.
I blame the drought last summer and it's very difficult for me to water these days as my water butt is all clogged up and my kitchen is in the front of the bungalow so I have no tap at the back of the building,
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Your weather sounds like ours over here in the midwest USA. At least the sun is out today but soooo chilly!
Gorgeous card in shades of blue, so nicely designed!
