Show and Tell Time.

It's time for another card over at the Christmas Card club I belong to.
The theme for #9 was chosen by Karen P. and is
Black and white + one other colour.
I have had this stamp for ages but not used as have been totally unsure how to colour.
When I saw Karen's Theme I had a light bulb moment.
Why not use the stamp as is.
i.e  black ink  on white card so I did!
Another firing on all plugs moment cos then I thought
why not colour the ivy green so I did!!
I'm on a roll by now .
Why not add a strip of ribbon and some ivy leaves. so I did.
Then to finish off mount onto green card. so I did.
Stamp is by Stampendous 'Snowy Postcard'
I have it's sister stamp 'Train Postcard' as well.
Stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black.
Coloured using 'Pine ' Promarker pen.
Cut out using Spell binders 'Romantiuc Rectangle'
Britannia word dies for the sentiment.

Inside finished off to match.

I have some more C. Cards coming up. One for a new challenge just spotted
and Sarn's Rudolph Day.

Entering into the following challenges:
Christmas card Challenges #22 Anything goes.
Crafty Hazelnuts Extra #119 Anything goes Christmas.
ABC Christmas Challenge # H is for home.
Simply Create Too #60 Stack em up. " layers at least.
Sweet Stampin # No D.P.
Stampin Sensations # Use  your dies or punches.
Completely Christmas #9 Anything  goes.

I love it when a card comes together like that, pity they don't always flow so easily, lol. I have this stamp and it is gorgeous. Love the die cut edging too.

Love your description of how all this came together. I have this stamp too...I think you must have made this just for me as it is already marked Canada in the bottom left! lol

Colouring the ivy was a brilliant idea!

Valery, I love what you did with this stamp. It's one I have and recently found the train one too. There's a neat video on Scrap Made Simple with another nifty technique, (if you're interested let me know). This is Uber beautiful. The green is so perfect with the vintage look of the postcard. TFS & Hugs

I didn't know you had this stamp! I love it too, but don't have it as I'm not sure what I'd do with it. Every time I see a card using it, it looks lovely. Same on this occasion x
