Word Search.

I had a Male Birthday  card to make this week for someone who is Football mad. I couldn't find a digi I felt was  suitable so created this card instead. Another blue card but these are   the teams football colours that he supports.
The light blue is actually the back of an old envelope which came in the post (which of course everyone  keeps) that just happened to be the correct colour blue and the buttons were taken from an old top of Fluff's little bruv that had been safely stored away.
Don't you just love it when a Stash comes together!!!!!

The light blue was adhered to a piece of thick card and then distresed around the edges before being glued onto the card.
I created the grid in excel , deleted the grid lines and then posted into word, shrunk down and printed off. There are another 10 words hidden within the grid. Can you find them?
Entering into the following:
Shopping Our Stash: Use your old Buttons.
Divas By Design: Anything goes.
Simply Create : Link up # 17
Cute cards Thursday: Beat the Blues.
Wags  & Whiskers:  Celebrations.
Catch the Bug: Anything Birthday.
2 Sisters Challenge: Celebrations.
Hiding in my Craft  Room:  Super scraps Saturday.
Penny's Paper - Crafty : Anything Goes.
Pixies Crafty Workshop: Use your snippets #55.

I'm not sure Bruv will appreciate you nicking stuff off his jumpers! Even if it is to make a fab but tricksy male card. I didn't miss anyone I shouldn't have did I? xxx

This is a genius idea! Now I'm also going to be on the lookout for pretty envelopes - do they count as Snippets, I wonder?

Stay warm!

Really clever idea Mrs A! I started to do the word search but stopped when it went downhill with a word I found :)

But certainly one to remember for the future - the idea not the word.

Hugs, Di xx

Hi Mrs A

Love this idea very much!!

To begin with I thought you were going to say the recipient was addicted to word searches LOL!!

I see your bloomers have made their way onto your sidebar .. .. don't worry I won't be blowing them up again. I have learnt my lesson.

Have a good weekend.

Love Jules xx

This is just great...years ago I used insides of envelopes for iris folding...did you really made the grid yourself? I recognized some words but I saw there was someone who saw them all (I think)...
