Workdesk Wednesday 110

We have just come back from doing a watercolour art class and of course monkey insisted on having all the correct items so would I please make him a blue beret that all the great artists wear so that he would really feel the part. He also wanted one of those white frock coats but I said that was taking it a' Smock too far'!

As you can see he got stuck straight in and decided on a still life to begin with.

Why not pop over to Julias blog to see other artists desks, youll enjoy yourself no end.

What a painter Monkey is....Did not know he was so talented!
I did water colour painting about 12 years ago and loved it. The lady who taught me specialised in animal and bird paintings, but taught us landscape and seascape and I loved that. Good luck, enjoy. Debbiexx

That's a beret creative monkey you have there Mrs A! Let's hope he doesn't take up smoking smelly French cigarettes!! Have a great weekend.

boy he is definitely a cheeky little thing. Asks for a beret which you make him then gets to thinking he needs more. DOesn't he know real artists starve and freeze cause they can't afford food or clothes! Good thing he has you Mrs. A he doesn't know how lucky monkey has it. Vickie

Gracious, Monet Monkey!! Cool beret! And look at that Banana study - who'd have thought it could involve that many colours - great artwork.
