The pattern in the middle is my Wedding Dress. If you do a close up it is view 2. Still inside the envelope was a piece of the actual crepe material I made it in showing on the selvedge that it was Swiss made. The two patterns on the left are of beach robes that I made for us both back in 1970!!

So what is monkey up to this week?
He said he was having a tea party and inviting some friends over and would I take some photos of the occasion. How could I refuse!!!!
Hi, this is my big brother 'Side Kick'. He normally lives in Mrs A's car and sits between the driving and passenger seats and holds The Doc's sunvisor cap for him.
and this is my new friend Jam ( Just A Monkey).
He is going off to USA shortly to meet his new family.
(Hope you like him Terry. Your very own Valery Anne loveable.)

What a lovely trip down memory lane! And how great to have found that wedding dress pattern.
Jam looks a real sweetheart. Hope Monkey hasn't taught him any naughty tricks before his long journey...

Thanks for sharing your monkey friends! I am still laughing at Neil's comment!
My stamped frame has no plans as yet. I just coloured it with the copics that happened to be on my desk at the time... I bet I can't find a matching patterned paper now!

How fabulous - finding those things - real vintage now! We still want proof though, piccies of you in your wedding dress and the pair of you in the beach robes (I nearly typed bath robes!!!). Beautiful wedding dress pattern - I've nothing I made when I was young darn it. Look at Jam! I love the name! I love the monkey! I love the cute little sweater! Goodness, YOU are a treasure to make that for me. Thank you ever so much! I wish I were so talented! My goodness, you did such a marvelous job - LOVE JAM!! {Run away from Fluff, Jam...RUN!!) LOL!

Hi Mrs A,
How lovely, I bet that brought back some memories and clever you for making your own wedding dress. So you were creative before you were married as well! My wedding dress and bridesmaids dress are all up in the loft - when the girl's are a little older I will let them try it on - for fun. I will definately have my camera on stand by when that happens.
Happy WOYWW

I bet you shed a tear when you saw your pattern for your wedding dress! I wanted my Mum to make mine but sadly we ended up buying it but Mum did have a hand in altering it (suddenly lost quite a bit of weight) and she made lots of additions to it and made my pettiecoat! Perhaps we should all have a wedding dress week! Thanks for your kind words and am so glad to have had a few responses to my tutorial. Will put out a requirements list on the weekend for you all!
