Firstly, I discarded the gold threaded strip of material on the bag flap and replaced with a piece of pale pink velvet and attached the leather buckle back on. 
Then I added a piece of 20yr old lace over the top and made a flower using a different 20yr old vinatage lace ,17 yr old ivory satin and some beads. 
Add a bit more bling.........
And this is the result.

Beautiful transformation! The lace is gorgeous and I don't think my monitor can really do it justice. Touches of bling are perfect with the vintage look. Great job and thank you for sharing and playing along :)

Thanks for your lovely story. My pond is quite small and when the ducklings arrive we have to open the garden gate to let them down to the village stream.
I think ducks are stupid. They never think of how to get the babies out alive.

Hello there Mrs. A. I've missed some of your post and see a sweet little Stanley standing there posed and ready to gallop around. Now that Mr. Monkey has specs, I don't know that he'll take kindly to having to share his space. :-) Your purse turned out to be so fantastic!
