Toucan Talk.

I was sorting through some bird digis that I had already printed off and found this one which just cried out to be coloured in.  I used a combination of marker pens plus pearlescent chalks for the background.

Digi is by Patties Creations 'Toucan Love' and the die cut frame is from Spellbinders 'Romantic Rectangle'. I'm trying to purpose some of the  many sheets of  Tonic  Studios cardstock that I have  so have used two different blue sheets that I have layered up with black cardstock in between and then onto a black base.  Sentiment is a lack shinny sticker which just seemed right for him to be  speaking.

It never seems to rain but pour here. Am having  email problems now. We needed an upgrade which was done by our son for us but it only worked for The Doc and blocked my account out completely.  Ticket raised and email server promised to unblock within 48hrs but all they did was then block The Doc's account too. Fortunately I have a back up account with another company so can still keep in touch whilst main account is sorted.
Brother in Law is still in hospital. He has been in for six weeks now and has caught three different viruses whilst being there. The last one resulting in him needing antiboitices pumped into  for the next six weeks. With Sis having visited him  every day she has now caught covid and so stuck at home until clear. testing clear.  In  the meantime brother in law  has been moved to rehab which is an hours drive away for sis to visit him.  He still has Kidney stones which is why he was admitted in the first place but that problem seems to be on the back burner for sorting out at the moment.  All very worrying for my sister right now.

Entering the card above into the following challenges:
All Sorts Challenge #717 Anything goes with option of matching pairs (Two Toucans)
Ellibelles Corner # Anything goes.

Lovely card, Mrs A. The decorative edge forms the toucans beautifully.

Sorry to hear all the problems you are having with your emails. Thinking of your sister and BIL, it must be a difficult time for them. xx

Upgraded can be an absolute pain, I'd resisted the latest Mac one but it decided to do it anyway the other say, seemed fine until I wanted to access my Dropbox where I store all my made cards etc. Took a day to sort again.

You Toucan's are real fun and dare I say hubby just happened to walk past my desk as I opened your post, stopped, looked and said "looks like the one on the right is a woman"!

I love your coloring on this card. The toucans are awesome. What an ordeal for your brother in law to go through and still have the stones he went into the hospital for. I hope that gets taken care of for him. Also, your emails and Doc's need to be fixed.

Oh Valery, what a time you are having, and your poor Sister and her Husband, I hope your BiL improved quickly, and that your Sister is well now.
Do you remember when life was simple before technology? It's not made that much better, in my opinion and it's also time consumming.
Anyhoo, your card is fabulous, love the toucans and the colours, a great design.
Keep well, Kate x

Sorry to hear about the internet problems.
And much more sorry for your sister. Six weeks your SIL in hospital already and now your sis has covid. Plus rehab an hours drive away, that is so exhausting. Wishing all will be better soon.

Hello, Mrs. A! Your toucan card is adorable and you've coloured the birds beautifully! So sorry to read about your email troubles as well as your brother-in-law's health situation, very worrisome. I hope he and your sister will be well again soon. I'm starting to feel a bit better but it was a rough month or two. I still have vertigo (fell yesterday but didn't hurt myself) but the vertigo is not as bad as I've had it in the past so I'm up and around now but have to take my time and be careful with everything I do. I hope you are feeling well these days, my friend. Sending hugs.

This is a really fun card Valery, love it. Sorry to hear about your Brother-in-law, that's the only problem with hospitals there are too many sick people in there! Hope he's feeling much better soon and your sisiter too. Unfortunately we are so dependent on our computers now that it's a real problem when they stop working properly. Take care and wishing you a happy weekend. Hugs, Angela xXx
