Oh Happy Days.

Well he is back again. He turned up a couple of days ago and has made himself at home. I know I am going to regret this but he is lending a hand over on the Butterfly Blog for the current challenge.

The new challenge has begun and as usual the Fairies, Gnomes, Pixies, Imps and Elves are back.  The challenge will end on 31st December. Your cards can be either christmas themed or non christmas. The choice is yours. There are two prizes to  be won by Random Org.

Here are my inspiration cards to get you going.

First card is using fairies. The large stamp is by Creative Expressions  called 'Dandelion Steps'. I have stamped onto watercolour card and painted with my Caran D'ache water colours.  I have added a few extra stamps to create the scene.
The fairies are by Lavinia Stamps.  Rabbits are Clarity Stamp ' Wee Folk' and I have added some extra grasses by Hobby Art on the top of the steps and along the bottom for the bunny to munch on. I managed to get the little sewing machine working and have used it here on this card to edge the painting. The sentiment is two freebie  stamps from a magazine.   I finished off with silver glitter glue around the fairies  and on their wings.

Second  card is using a digi Gnome from KLM called  Christmas Tree Gnome. Coloured using my promarkers and a silver gel pen. Sentiment was generated in Word.  The papers are from  Crafts Beautiful Magazine. Layered up onto blue card stock and then kraft card cut to size to make the base card.  finished the tree off with silver glitter glue and to highlight the sentiment.
Entering into the following challenges:
Scraps of Life by Scrappy Mo# November Rudolph challenge.

Let's hope that Little L'th has learned to behave over the past year. With him in charge of the Butterfly Challenge, anything could happen - and probably will.

Ooh no the dreaded little chappie in the red suit lol 😂 hope he’s been given a talk to about his previous behaviour 😂 although he does have good moments like helping out with your current challenge love the cards enjoy your day and no taking any nonsense from you know who xx

Hi Valery, and of course Little L'th, I guess it was only a matter of time before he popped up. I hope you've got the houserules established lol.
Two gorgeous cards, especially love the fairy one, but both beautifully created, Kate x x

I do hope he is looking after you Valery-Anne, we need a few good hard frost to kill off all these bugs and nasties (Elves excluded). I just hope 'he' stays put this year, I don't want a repeat of a couple of years ago when he rocked up here in the Fens causing havoc.

I just left a message over at the challenge blog as I do have something that I can enter this time round and you have set us off with some super inspiration.

Two fabulous cards Mrs A. Love the silhouette fairies on the first and cut little gnome with his tree on the other.
I do hope you've got everything under lock and key or stashed away out of harm's (or should I say elf's) way! xx

Hope that L'th mind has grown and he is less mischievous, now... However, he seems good as helper for the challenge. Two beautiful card, and just love the first one with all those mixed stamps, they created a wonderful magical scene!!

Yippee, and look how helpful he is already. Two great cards especially like the map effect on the first one and the lovely images.
Funny an elf presenting a card with a gnome on it, great sentiment for the card.
Just please keep your new Summer House locked.

Whoop, whoop - you beat the sewing machine! Great cards! Love the sewing as well. Off to bed for an early start in the morning. And so who then takes you outside, points to baby hedgie at feeding station and asks what you're gonna do? Sad as it is I just cannot take one more load for tomorrow right now. The hedgie has to hang on for another 24 hours I fear. Sigh.
