Kinetic Card.

It is a new challenge over on the Butterfly Blog. The  letter is K and the card shape is Kinetic. Before you go running for the hills though please take a look at my card below which is a very simple card to make.
Kinetic  just  means a card with a moving part.  I have a step by step tutorial for you over on the Butterfly blog and you will find it under the card shapes tab at the top of the blog.

My card uses Kinetic card/Key lime/Kobe/Kobi/Butterfly from the current wheel.

Here is the card closed. I have used design papers from The works, Heart shape die cut From John Next Door, Butterfly die from Elizabeth Craft Designs and a Britannia word die.

Here is the card beginning to open
 At the half way mark.
 Nearly there.
 Fully opened.
There are lots and lots of ways to make a moving card and lots of inspiration on You tube.  I hope you will give this card a try. Next week I will show how to make a simple slid mechanism for a kinetic card. Have fun and see you soon.

The butterfly is pretty and the fold is great. I love the movement on it too. The key lime looks so good with the plum card stock.

Did you hear about the explosion at the cheese factory?

The only thing left was debrie.

That's my jokes for now. Hope to hear more soon and will share.

Wow Valery this is truly gorgeous. I had forgotten all about that fold but even when I did it before I never cut the front like that. Genius!! Hope you enjoyed your time with your feet up today x

Great card Valery and I love the colour scheme used. There is always something extra special about cards with unusual folds. You really must try the Press and Seal, you will love it. The technique isn't a quick one but it's difficult to get the same finish any other way. Have a lovely creative week, Angela xxx
