Quack, Quack, Quack.

Oh dear you had best see what My True Love sent to me today!!
Can I just point out here and now that you are not My True Love  cos what am I supposed to do with six ducks. I only have a small pond on  which two  are already  swimming merrily around and one in the water barrel. Ok, these three will have to go in the stream. I'm also getting fed up with listening to 'We Three Kings'.

Duck stamp by Penny Black called  'Caroling Duck'  and coloured this time with my Graph'it markers and silver stickles. The paper is another roll of wrapping paper from the local supermarket. Well it was buy 3 for 2 so how could I resist.  Snowflakes are a Memory Box die cut.
Don't they just look like butter wouldn't melt in their beaks!  Well don't you believe it.

As for that wretched elf, the honeymoon period is over. His tag went off yesterday morning (whilst I was busy with the darn ducks).. I found him in the kitchen trying to smother his leg in lard.

Put the lard back in the fridge L'th. That's for the mixing with porridge  for the birds and that knife is very sharp!!!!.

Gorgeous card. Love how you have used wrapping paper for backing paper. Great idea. Michelle x

They should be singing Three Little Maids From School.
Really great card and love all the glitter, super use of the wrapping paper. Great colouring too.
Can't wait till we get to the 12th day.
Knew it wouldn't last long, not as daft as he looks.

Firstly, a lovely card. I am envious of the wrapping paper you have found!

Secondly, your pond is going to be extremely full well before we get to 12 days! It will be interesting to see where you put all those ducks!

Thirdly, well what can I say? That tag is not going to get the better of L'th. You should know not to leave knives around while L'th is in the house! Can't wait to see what he tries next to get rid of the tag. I had wondered about applying a tag to my elves but with three of them I'm sure that the tags would be off before I knew it!

That elf is a handful to be sure! Maybe you should tie him down with rope rather than the tag! Hehe! Your duck card is adorable! Love the sparkle. We have a small pond on a property that we own too. I don;t think it would hold six ducks either but you might send three our direction. Have a super weekend!

Your carolling ducks are so cute! Love the sparkle! Sounds like you are having a lot of trouble with ducks hehehe. Your elf is very clever, somehow I knew he'd find a way to get the tag off! I imagine you had a mess of lard to clean up afterwards too!
