A Winters Scene.

This was a card that I created for The  Doc to send to his cousin.  I designed a little scene and painted using my new Water Colour Paints (Caran d'Ache Gouache Studio) that I got from the NEC this year.  I used an offcut of watercolour  smooth card  115 lb. and masked all round the edges. The trees (on the hills), house and stag are stamps from a Hobby Art  'Winter Scene-its' set CS007D.
The trees and fence in the foreground  are an Inkylicious stamp called 'Winter Walk'. Once it had dried I removed the masking and adhered to brown cardstock to make the base card.  I then generated the Greetings sentiment in word (the last part has been blanked off  for this post as it is the name of my village.) and printed out on white card stock. I cut the Frame work using my  Presscut stitched rectangles die cut set so that it would include the greeting across the top.   Below is the  card showing the frame surround  added.
I must say it made a nice diversion from stamping all those darn ducks out!

This is a beautiful scene. Peaceful and clean, unblemished snow. The sky is fantastic. I'm missing the ducks, but this is pretty too! Thanks for the jokes. I loved the one about what rhymes with orange. That just cracked me up. Wishing you and Doc a happy and healthy New Year, sans ducks.
