More Mail.

This was the card I sent to our youngest Grandson along with animal jokes which started with the letter O so we were on Owl jokes.
I am still using up the  pre-designed card blanks in my stash which I  uncovered in my recent Craft Room clear out. Also another of the  Daisy & Dandelion ready stamped designs which came free in Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine a while ago with some cat images in amongst them. The card base had green and gold  triangles in the design so I coloured  the image up accordingly using  my promarker pens and pearlescent chalks. I die cut the image using a First Edition Pinking Edge Nesting die.

Just two of the jokes I enclosed  for your delight.

Q.         What do you call an Owl with a sore throat?
A.          A bird that doesn't give a hoot.

Q.          What do you call an Owl wearing armour?
A.          A Knight Owl.

Sorry folks they don't come any better than that!!

So on that happy note I'm entering into the following challenges:
Pixies Crafty Workshop # 319 Use up your snippets. (last one in the pack of that design)
Through The Craft Room Door # Anything goes.
Crafting By Designs # Anything goes,
Creative Moments #136 Anything goes.

Jo's Scrap Shack #220 Anything goes.

A cute card to celebrate a wonderful relationship! Kids are so much fun when they are at the age to develop a sense of humor. We still love a good joke around our house. Thanks so much for sharing your sweet project at Jo's Scrap Shack.

Great card and the jokes did make me titter here! It seems that everywhere I look, folk are using up old stash. Just been over to KandA's and she's using up flowers and ribbone - and here you are using up stuff as well as fishing out your chalks! That's something else I've wondered about ditching when I get round to the big purge - they cost a lot when I bought them but never seem to see the light of day now. Yet so perfect is that green on your image!
