Christmas Scenes

Time yet again for the girls in the Christmas Card club to show our next batch of cards. Sylvie set the theme and asked for Anything Goes Christmas.  Simples!!!
A quick rootle around in my used christmas card box and found these two card fronts. Not much required doing to theme other than trimming down and adding to base cards made from coloured cardstock. The printed sentiments were in my stash and I simply mounted onto  oddments of the same card stock. The card fronts are raised up on 3D pads to give a bit of dimension but it doesn't show in the photos.

Sometimes quick and easy is the best especially if your short on time.

Quick and easy has to be good for Christmas cards - so often people just put them into the recycling without a thought afterwards which is a shame if you've put a lot of work into them.

Great new "old" cards. I love the scene in the second card. It reminds me of a picture I used to have of a small town Christmas.

Your Christmas cards are simple and lovely. You will be well supplied come December while some of us (my hand is raised) will be hectic and scrambling to get everything done. Kudos to you dear. <3

Two super cards - great recycling! I must admit that I've got a box of card fronts from last years cards and the year before, all trimmed down ready to use - but I keep forgetting to use them! xx
