It's week 2 of my Butterfly challenge
Here is some more inspiration for you.
This is as CAS as it gets!
I adhered two small strips of washi tape onto a snippet of card
and then cut the banner shape to fit a blank card base.
Used 2 SU butterfly punches to cut the apertures
and then the cut outs were raised up on 3D pads
and adhered above the strip.
A few pearls for the trail and card is complete.
Simples!!!!

My second card is the exact opposite!!
I threw everything at it for a Shabby chic /vintage look.
Base paper is by Prima from their 'Botanical Collection.'
Distressed round the edges with my handy TH tool
The pink rose paper on top is by Raspberry Road.
Both these papers were freebies from magazines.
I adhered the pink paper to snippets of white card
and then distressed around the edges for a more raised look.
The butterfly is by Sil 'Papillons Loisirs Creatifs'
Ric rac braid/ribbon/lace/charm/pearls and embellishment
all from my stash.

So, two completely different styles but the same challenge.
Hope I have given you some food for thought.
and ideas on what to use for zig zags.

Your cards are both beautiful, Mrs A! I love expecially the CAS, such a clever idea you have had with the washi tape! The punched holes and the diecuts look so well toghether! The pearls make a perfect way for the fluttering butterflies!

Both cards are absolutely gorgeous - you know how much I love CAS and am always looking out for ideas for using Washi tape as I am washi-tape-challenged! And your second is really luxurious and elegant. Putting my Twofers hat on for a moment, than you for sharing with us. I'm afraid we can't consider it for a prize as our rule is the card must include some stamping, but we've loved looking at it.

Each so very different in the styles, but equally lovely. I will confess that #1 will have to be my fav, just because of the CAS design that has such brilliant designing. Absolutely no waste! #2 is so pretty with all the frills & pretties on it...lots to love. TFS & Hugs.
