A very different style card from me today.
This is for the new challenge over
We are being sponsored by
The theme is anything goes as usual
and we would love to see your projects.
I chose this image called ' Cleopatra Portrait.'
As soon as I saw her I knew I just had to colour her up.
I have used Promarkers, gold gel pen
and gold pearlised chalk.
I fussy cut the image out after colouring her.
The stamp is of Roman Columns and writing
but I can't for the life of me recall where I got it from
or the make other than is is unmounted red rubber.
I have layered up with orange and red card stock
on black as my base card.
The black panel has been embossed using
a Darice folder of Bulrushes.
Cleopatra is raised up with 3D pads.
The only way I could get a half decent photo to show up
the embossed panel was to turn the card sideways
under my white desk light.

You did a fantastic coloring job on her eye makeup. That's what I always noticed on Elizabeth Taylor. This is such a fun card.

Cleopatra looks ready for action. Great Card...
Great image and a great style of card, totally love the colours, brilliant creations and not a butterfly in sight!
Well, get this, I was once called Cleopatra by Tony Hicks of the Hollies, oh yes, you won't have heard of Batley Variety Club but they had great named artists on there and one night it was the Hollies and after the show we went back stage to meet them, I was dressed in an all in one black trouser suit with a gold, chain belt and had long black hair, Kathy Magowan style and the first one I saw was Tony Hicks and he said .. Hello, Cleopatra, stupid me
should have said Hello, Antony, my life could have been so different.
