I'm back to show you some more
inspiration for my Butterfly Challenge
Don't have a stamp or a die cut to use?
How about you cut your own shape!
I made a simple Gatefold from cardstock
Mine measured 11" x 5.75"
I measured 1/4 in from each end to create the folds.
I drew a simple arch shape onto stiff card
and used this as my template to cut away
the edges that met in the middle of the card.
You can see the resulting card below.
I used papers that were still out on my desk
which were freebies from Making Cards Magazine.
The plain purple and floral design are from the
'Pretty Ponies' range of papers.
I distressed the floral papers using my handy T.H. gadget.
Butterfly is made from shrink plastic
coloured with promarkers and then covered
with glossy accents.
I love making these as no two will ever be the same.
I tend to make them up in batches so I always have some
to hand for embellishments .
I cut a smaller archway in white card and coloured
the edges with a purple ink pad to match.
Sentiment and candles are by Papermania
Yellow flowers from my stash.
See I told you it was simples!!
