This was the view from the upstairs side window this morning.
Overlooking the flood pond that has been built to stop
the rest of the village from flooding.
My water mark shows where it can come up to
on the grass outside our side fence.
Not as bad as the photo taken below from
the same window in July 2007 though.
Watermark shows the top of the same railings oposite
just out of the water line!

Good grief woman! Want me to come over wiv me canoe? We did see a lot of flooded fields en route to London yesterday - it woz dark when we came home though. Just shout and I'll be on me way!

We have a natural spring at the back of our garden that floods but nowhere near as bad as this.
