It's My Party.

If you are looking For a Mrs A's Bloomer tale, one will be along shortly!!

Our Granddaughter will be 3yrs old on Friday and this is the card that I have made for her. She loves to dress up as a fairy and when I saw this LOTV knew it would be perfect for her as she is also a bit of a tom boy at heart.
Shaped card is from my friend. (Thanks Di).
Backing card is actually part of a custard tart box  (too nice to throw out).
Stamp is by Lily of the Valley  ST125  'It's My Party'.
Sentiment created with   Britannia word and number dies.
Die cut is Spellbinders 'Majestic Elements'
Stamp coloured using Promarkers, Chalks and silver pen.
Ribbon and pearls from my stash.

Our Granddaughter has the most beautiful Titian red hair which her parents insist on calling auburn, so whilst I have used a red chalk on her hair I have also toned it down using brown to keep them happy!

I love the image on this card. My eldest had hair that colour....and I loved it. But of course she never did and she is really pleased that since she had the twins it has changed colour and is much less vibrant now.
Hugs,
A x

Oh my goodness...what a great image...even Little Miss C at 6 years old still has her crossed arms moments...lol
She is silent though...Kittke Mr P crossed his arms and makes little harumph noises and sort of does that with his feet...too funny!!!

Love this sweet card...I am going to look at my recycle bin more carefully. Paper, plastics, glass, everything goes in one and down to the curb...I may have to offer to take over that job if I can make cards with it...lol

Oooer Mrs A, this is brilliant. One of my fave LOTV images too and perfectly done for your Grand daughter.

Love the hair - and the custard tart box recycling is genius!

I'm such a Dumbo, I have the numbers set plus the Birthday words too.............and would never have thought to put the two together as you have :( Thanks for a great tip!

Also, how spooky that we've even bought the same toppers when not trotting round a craft show together!

Right, the neighbours are now complaining about bad language in the Playground. I'm off to chase the parrot!

Hugs, Di xx

Aww, that is lovely Mrs A. When we are young we always want what someone else has. I remember one of my friends was a gorgeous red head but hated it, I wanted to be a blonde now I'm just happy that there are only a couple of greys coming through my brown hair lol!
Beautiful image, fabulous colouring, she'll love it! Karen x
