Good Impressions.

Time for another Of Mrs A's Bloomers or as Darnell puts it  'time for a visit to Mrs A's Yarn Shop' so pull up a chair and make yourself comfy.
I'm going back this week to a job I had prior to last weeks tale. I was there for 7yrs and after 3yrs I was given the task of buying in a new Finance Software package and complete new computer network system to run it on. Having found a company I rather liked I arranged for a rep to bring some hardware out to our office and demo the system to my boss.
I was bright and early come the morning of the demo but even so found Jason (the rather dishy rep) already waiting in his car in the staff car park, so I pulled up along side and hopped out of my car. I  endeavoured to look very professional and having collected my bag from the passenger seat  invited him to follow me into the office.
I was just asking Jason if he would like a coffee when Sarah the office Manager  rushed up behind me and whispered that I might like to take  the the hem of my dress out of the back of my knickers!  Didn't I  wish the ground could just open up beneath me? Oh yes indeed I did!!
But do you know what my boss bought the system and strangely we got rather a large discount too!!
I always check now  before leaving the house of a morning as well.
My card to go with the story is below but the pink unmentionables is where the similarity ends. (The fact that I may have had a blue skirt and knitted  tank top at around the same time is purely coincidental).

Multi spot paper by Alison Butler.
Blue spotty a freebie from Simply Homemade magazine.
Digi coloured using Promarkers and edged with a Papermania gold pen.
Given the once over with matching Pearlescent chalks.
Nesties used  Spellbinders and Sizzix.
Ribbon and pearls from stash.

Oh Mrs A - that's hilarious! I did just the same at Southampton airport a year ago and have been paranoid ever since - so much so I don't watch who's pulling me top down!

Great image and super snippets make. You only have one more snippets make to go to qualify for two chances of that stamp this week - you can do it!

Hugs, Di xx

Oh my gawd, what a funny story!!! I'm sure you were completely embarrassed, but this card is a hoot!! We all learn from those humiliating moments don't we? :)

Oh, my God, Mrs. A, you are TOO much!! PLEASE write a book and illustrate it with your cards! Put me on the Buyer's List immediately!! I'm going to pester you until you do!

I think you should put out a call to the Playground - hey, Di, are you on the line? - for your next Pixie Snippet, ask us all to tell our "hem in our wasteband" stories! I have a doozie like Mrs. A and I wager we all do.

Perhaps the gals in these modern times can't relate since none of them wear panty hose any more, which is what always created difficulty for me when yanking them up over my ample butt cheeks, not unlike the shape of your card model!!

Thank you another wonderful yarn! Mwah! Darnell

Oh, Lord, I can't stop laughing and I know I'll be going back to that illustration again and again!!

You do find the absolute cutest images to illustrate your hilarious stories! This one was a corker. I think we've all been in sort of a similar boat at one time or another. This took me back a ways, invoked another time (which I must say I am thankful is past!). Made me chuckle, loved your card, and a good ending to my day. TFS both card & story. You're a good story teller too. Hugs

Fab card and even fabbier story!!

I once, in a Tube station, had to strip my stockings off - one of 'em had come loose and it was either that or walk around like Nora Batty. I still blush to this day to think of it!!!

Hope you have a good weekend,
Sarah
