Red, White & Blue

July's Tag a Month swap theme at The Altered  Paper is Red,White and Blue.  Suggested ideas to use are  flowers, buttons, lace , bling. I had this blue and white embroidered netting that I  had saved in my stash. I simply trimmed around the flower and stems and then adhered to a whtie tag. The butterflies are die cut from a scrap of shrink plastic, coloured in with red/blue promarkers and when shrunk coated with glossy accents. As I have used up snippets I am entering into Pixies Crafty Workshop#27.

Oh wow, this is a really cool tag!

It's simple and clean and I love seeing non patriotic versions of red, white and blue!

Lovely clean and simple tag. Just wanted to pop over and say hi, thanks for visiting me and to answer your question, yes the Tando clocks come with proper clock mechanisms! Have a lovely day (And tell your boys to lay off the juice a bit, seeing their photo a couple of posts down was a shocker, I didn't expect it from them!

Super tag Mrs A - after your comment am wondering which bit originally came from the undies drawer. See, I blurted it out after you whispered it. Whatever, it's a lovely result :)

Super tag! What a good idea about shrinking butterflies and then giving them a coat of gloss. I MUST remember this fab idea.

Good ole red, white and blue! Yeah, let's sneak some fireworks into the playground this week! Although it still might be a bit damp to let them off, how about some sparklers??!
