Winter stick pin swap.

I recently entered a stick pin swap over at The Altered Paper. The theme was to make 3 stick pins in winter colours and attach to an embellishment. I chose the colours of dark blue, silver, white and pearl and made a tag to attach the pins to. If Sis (cos I know she reads my blog) looks closely at the beads she might just recognise them from the necklaces she gave me last summer for using up in my crafting stash.
Lots of lace, fringing, ribbon and homemade flowers later this is the finished swap.
Looking for the 'wally shrink' heart button?
Well here it is hiding on the back of the ribbon. Told you I wasn't going to make them all easy for you to spot!!!
This is the lovely set of white, pearl and turquiose blue pins I received back from Donna of
Red Apple Junction adhered to a lovely glittery and snowflake tag. As I'm a sucker for wearing hats these won't be stuck on here for very long!!!!! Thanks so much Donna for being my partner.

These are gorgeous Mrs A. Well done.
Why do I always stroke your cats when I come here? I am not a cat fan???

Fabulous Mrs A - I just love these pins! Laughing at Sam's comment too as I'm just the same, not a cat fan but always stroke your cats when I come here:)

Hey, up - The Range in Reading lowdown. Bit disappointing yesterday for craft finds (some visits are better than others) but it's on the same little retail park as Aldis, Mothercare, Clarks and TGIF's. Just by the roundabout after the firestation on Caversham Road coming into Reading.

Didn't know you lived so close - err, well, it takes me 45 mins to drive to Reading but you know what I mean!

Those pins are so pretty. I had not thought of using old necklaces in my crafting. I will look at them in a totally different way after seeing this. My entry for the Create a Scene was seriously last minute getting finished and mounted up. Must do better next month, especially as one of the design team is my daughter's mother-in-law, she will be chasing me up to get more organised. See you soon. xx Maggie
