Catch Up.

My Frozen shoulder has decided to play up big time. I should be in stage 3 of recovery for it by now but it feels just like it did 16 months ago so sitting at my computer and typing for any length of time  has been a no go. I have managed to keep fairly up with comments.
Fortunately I have had these sunburst panels sitting on my desk from a play a while back so I have quickly made into cards to catch up on two christmas card challenges with the girls from the christmas card club.  Gwen wanted snowflakes as her theme and Christine asked for the sentiment as the focus with no image.
Here are my cards.

I used a wavy edge gold sticker strip to accentuate the divisions between the  design papers and the large snowflake die cut  was in my stash ready cut out in cardboard so I colored with a gold gel pen and then gold stickles glue. The sentiment is a gold sticker as well.
Plain silver sticker edging this time and the snowflakes were in my stash . As they were already die cut in greyboard I just added silver stickles glue to them.  Sentiment and bauble stickers from my stash.

This last card was made from card that I had crazy pieced the bits of design paper left over from the above cards onto. The stamped sentiment  came in a set of 4 by Docrafts. Black glitter spots from my stash.

I can't believe you made three wonderful cards with your shoulder like that! That has to be so painful but you worked through it. I love the design of the sunburst cards and those gold wavy strips are gorgeous. The silver strips are lovely and the quilted look is so pretty. I hope there is so relief soon for you.

Wonderful cards - I love sunburst designs! And poor you, your shoulder has been going on for a long time. Mine still isn't right from trying not to trip over Dudley - but, as you know, the thought of running the gauntlet at the doc's and then possibly an x-ray or scan at hospital isn't a welcome prospect either! Have you tried taking turmeric pills? They may help - not doing it for me but could be an option for you to try.

Take it easy chick!

Wonderful sunburst panels designs Valery.

I too have frozen shoulder and after getting a cortisone shot two years in a row I finally went to an acupuncturist and after ten sessions my shoulder was healed. Wish I had done that earlier.

Hi Valery, as soon as I saw your comment on my blog I thought Oh no! it's ages since I've visited your blog and I'm so sorry it's just that I've had a few distractions here with my parents. It sounds like you've had a few distractions too and I so hope the shoulder gets better soon. Your cards are lovely, interesting design idea too. Take care and happy crafting. Hugs, Angela xXx

Hi Mrs A

Ouch on the frozen shoulder front .. .. don't over-do it on the computer and crafting front.

You have done well to complete three cards. I love the sunburst effect and have never even considered it for Christmas cards! They look great.

Good to use up things that are lying around on the craft desk isn't it!

Hope the shoulder starts to improve soon.

Love Jules xx

I tried to explain my thought about covid in my comment on Darnell's blog. Writing in English for me it's long and difficult, but if you want you can see here
