Christmas Lights.

Time once more for the girls in the Chritmas Card Club to show our next cards. Margaret set the theme this time and chose Christmas Lights. I have gone a bit tongue in cheek here as though I do have images I am still finding it painful(with my iffy shoulder)l to colour at the moment . Trawling through my box of used Christmas cards only turned up this one but hey it has a snowman on it with presents(Christmas right!) and the lights are on in the house. Lol.

I teamed it up with red card stock for the base and this red check paper from  'The Works'.  Layered the whole lot up a couple of times with the last layer on 3D sticker pads.  The sentiment was already on the card front as was the ribbon bow. Perfect.

Entering this card into the following challenge:
Scrappy Mo's Scraps of Life #. May Rudolph challenge.

Perfect Mrs A! It's great when you find something you have "hoarded" - oops!- saved and then comes in really useful! Hope your shoulder problem is resolved soon. Christine x

We all have to do what we can at any given time. I love to see windows all lit up at Christmas, and think back to when we had a tree with lanterns on it, a real fire place and sometimes snow outside the window. Those were the best times and your card reflects them perfectly. Kate x

Hi Mrs A,
such a very lovely card and such a wonderful scene too.
Love the the paper used also.
what have you done to your shoulder?
I suffered with mine for months and then had a steroid injection which sorted it all out wonderfully.
Hope you are soon pain free.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

It's so satisfying being able to recycle an old card into something new! The red borders really enliven the red in the image!

I hope your shoulder is on the mend. Take care!

Sorry to hear about your shoulder. IS is rotator cuff problems? Is so, a steroid shot gives me fabulous relief although it can be ouchy for the first three to four days after.

Your card is so cute. That is a great image and good for the brief too! I think any time we upcycle a card we are helping balance the new paper we use for our other cards! lol

Thanks for taking part in the May Rudolph Days Challenge.
