Just Sailing by To Say.

It's both my Mum and my Dad's Birthdays today. Mum would have been 97yrs  and Dad is 92yrs.
This is the card I made and sent to my Dad.

Iv'e used a Hunkydory kit from their Super Men Collection called The Adventure Begins. Dad was a sailor during WWII so I thought this sailing ship would please him.  Iv'e added my signature acetate front to make the card up and used  gold edging on the acetate  and added the sentiment to there too.

Happy Birthday DAD.

It a super card for your Dad Valery, I am sure he loved it. A great achievement to reach that age as well, my Dad would have been the same.

How unusual that your parents shared their birthday ValeryAnn. My parents did too, although even more unusually they were actually born on the same day and would have been 90 earlier this year. Super card for your dad with a lovely image. Love your use of acerate. I used to try and use nautical themes because my dad was a sailor too. Hugs Christine xx

Fabulous card for your Dad! The acetate really does lift cards to another level, and combined with the nautical theme and the HD card goodies makes for one very professional and special result.

Hi Mrs A,
Happy Birthday to your Dad.
What a very lovely card to celebrate such a tremendous age.
That is quite unusual to have both parents Birthdays on the same day.
I am sure he was very pleased with it.

A most Happy Belated birthday to your sweet parents. I happen to love clipper ships so this one's a favorite. I think your Dad will absolutely love this pretty card, it's colorful, yet still quite masculine. Big hugs to him, and TFS (and I still remember my parents on their birthdays. We don't forget, and as long as we keep them in our hearts & memories, they will never be gone).
