Sleigh Time.

It is already the #2 challenge
over with the girls in the Christmas Card Club .
Maureen has chosen today's theme
I have kept to my new  resolution to use
1 used christmas card front and
 a stamp/supplies from my stash
for the 2nd one.

I used Red card stock  to make the base card
which has a small flap folded up inside the card.
I found this enchanting sleigh  in my  used card stash
Card front cut out using my Xcut Square Parenthesis dies.
I went round the edge of the red insert and paper pierced
for added interest.

Papers are digi ones from Nit Wits
using their 'Christmas Too' collection
and ' Believe Too' collection.
I paper pierced around the blue insert too
but it is hard to see the lighting was so poor.
Ribbon from my stash.
Entering into the following challenges:
Crafty Boots # Use ribbon or lace.
A Snowflakes Promise #14 Christmas.
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #347 Christmas
Alphabet Challenge # X = Xtra fold.
Crafty  Hazelnut's  Extra # Anything goes christmas.

Then I had a thorough look in my
Christmas stamp box and luckily found this gem.
By Papermania
Urban Stamps 'Noel' 8 piece set.
I coloured using my Promarkers and a gold gel pen .

I used green card stock for the base this time
and used the same flap design but turned it upright.
Scalloped edges were die cut using Crafts-Too
Square dies PCD77.

The sentiment and Santa were  in the  stamp set
so I used them on the inside of the card.

Digi paper by Nitwits 'Fleur'
form the Simple Joys Too collection.

Close up of Santa cos I'm pleased how he turned out!
Entering into the following challenges:
Crimbo Crackers #98 Anything goes.
Crafty Hazelnuts #265 Use a Sentiment.
Scrapping 4 Fun #58 Anything goes,
Pixie's Crafty Workshop #212 Use your snippets. (oddment of card for stamping).
Shopping Our Stash #235  3,2,1. ( 3 die cut squares, 2 coloured images, 1 design paper).

These are really nice Mrs A - although I am not friends with you at the moment - I have rope burns after you shoved me down the rope ladder when we were nearly caught by Miss Di drinking Sarn's hooch in the tree house........

Beautifully done!!!! I am going to go looking for old Christmas cards now. Most of the cards I get are from card makers and I sure cannot use them!! I really like that sleigh image with the big present in it!

Two lovely cards Mrs A and well done sticking to your resolution. I'm still managing to stick to mine too. I also use old cards to help boost my Christmas card pile too. I try to use them up first before I start making my cards from scratch. Barbxx

I really like these traditional designs, we maybe don't see them as often now. You've made two sumptuous cards. The papers and ribbons make them look so special.

You are amazing with the recycles, and each one looks gorgeous! I admire you for keeping to your wonderful resolution (and just think how much you're keeping from the landfills! & creating more beauty at the same time). Each sleigh is such a beautiful rendition of the theme, and the pattern papers, the design...just tremendous all round. TFS & Big hugs!
