Festive Trees.

I had a rush job
(well Ok I knew about it back in January when July was ages away!)
which needed to be finished and delivered by this weekend
so my entry with the girls in
The Christmas Card Club is a wee bit late.
The latest theme was set by Granmargaret
'Christmas Trees'
I have resorted to the LOTV Art pad
Set 14 'Festive Foilage' again  and made
another 3 cards up.
(I felt a bit miserly only putting one late one in)

Th first card uses a new shape
'Corner Flip  Fold Card'
which I found several tutorials for on You Tube
and adapted to make my own  style.
I used a green card blank and cut the fold
using my Fiskars trimmer.
Cut and layered up using red and white card stock.
Gold christmas sticker from stash.

2nd card was made using 3 separate  die cuts
which I then hinged together.
I have called this a 'Die cut Fun Fold.'
Die used is Xcut Rectangle Parenthesis.
I used the next size down to cut the image and create
the side panels with the next size down again on the sides
which you can see a bit clearer in the picture below.
Gold sentiment stickers from stash.

3rd card uses the shape
'Zig Zag Double Fold'
I used a green card blank to make the card base shape.

I used read card stock to cut the layered panels.
The celtic stickers  were in my stash.
The sheet they were on just said Goldlabel - 617 Layers
so I don't know who made them.
Here is the card opened up to reveal the last tree.
Gold stickers from stash.

Stunning work Mrs A! I'm still scratching my head in the fact that it's July when it feels like we should be in March lol! Thank goodness that we always have something or other we can use when necessary too Karen x

Well three for the price of one can't be bad and your Christmas card stash must be building up nicely now. Lovely images and folds - I do like a different folded card, I seem to be stuck using squares at the mo.

Well, this trio was certainly well worth waiting for! Your complex folds always leave me with mouth hanging open, and you've done it once again. Love the LOTV tree, such a charming old fashioned tree. And the complexity of #2 with the die cutting is awesome.

Well I must have hit submit before I finished with admiring the Celtic motifs on the topiary of #3. You've hit the ball outta the park with each one of these.
And on the subject of updates: Last evening we were getting a storm, and was trying to power down. Windows was installing updates, 25 of 'em, and took about 15 minutes while the lightning was raging overhead. I was sorely tempted to hit the Big Power Switch in the rear of the computer and shut down. Feared the wrath of Windows if I did, and that nothing would ever work again, so fortunately no bad things from the lightning! TFS & Hugs
