Fold Out Card.

Another card shape.
This one is called a Fold Out Card. .
I found on You Tube by Alice Paperland.
An easy design to make but at the same time a classic.
I modified slightly on how I made it.
It is time again for the Christmas Card Club
To show their latest cards.
The theme for #2 was set by Christine
'The Real Reason For The Season.

I have this Woodware stamp set in my collection.
I love the simple lines on the images so like to keep plain.
This time I have highlighted the stars and the halo's
with just a rim of gold gel pen which to my mind is all the stamp needs.
Sentiment is by Dovecraft  'Tis The Season '.
Papers , ribbon and white card all from my snippets box.

We had the same idea Mrs A - basically black image with a touch of colour for the star. Two great stamps used here and the fold of the card is lovely. Perfect for the challenge this time. Christine xx

It's lovely, Valery. The stamp has beautiful lines, and I agree that it needs simple treatment to allow the shapes to take center focus. The gold halo was perfect. Of course I love the folds, and the dp was very pretty to show off the main image too. TFS & Hugs.

I've seen a lot of this style card lately! I wonder how come everyone is on the same wavelength? And how did I get left out? LOL! I like your card a lot and really like how you didn't color the images which really made them stand out.

Super card, Mrs A. I love the folded shape - something different. Also, like that you stamped the images in black and limited the colouring to the star - works so well with the striped paper. Elizabeth xx
