Penguin Post.

Another new card shape.
This one is a
Stair Step Fold Card.
No2. 2015.

I had time to spare so I
spudled  and came p with this one.
I saw this shape on K.T. Fit Kitty's blog
and she very kindly posted the tutorial for it
which you can find here by Splitcoaststampers.

It is a very  easy fold to do.
I used my Scor pal.

The penguins are toppers which came free
in a magazine a couple of yrs ago.
I added Sickles to their scarves and hats.
The line of houses was a die cut in my stash
which I coloured black and then added coloured card to the back
of the window apertures.
The trees I did freehand on a separate piece of cardstock
(mainly to adhere to the back of the houses to neaten up).
Again lamppost was already die cut and in my stash.
I painted with acrylic paint and then distressed using liquid pearls.
Tore a few stripes of paper for the hills and
adhered Stickles to the top edges.

Side view showing the 3D layering effect.
Sentiment created using Britannia word dies.

Hi Mrs A!
Sorry to hear you and the Doc have been ill - there is something so rotten about being ill at Christmas so I'm sending you both a healing hug!
Mind you I too have suddenly started sneezing and my throat is sore! I think my brother and his partner have given me a cold but trying to fight it - it really hurts me back when I sneeze!
Hope you are both on the mend and enjoy the rest of the festive season. I got to try and catch up with everyone and what they have created over the next couple of days Karen xx
