Watch The Birdie

It's time again for the midway reminder for the
The Sponsor for the current challenge is:

The theme is as usual Anything goes................. but no cards.
We would be delighted to see you so please come on over and join in the fun.

I have used 2 stamps by Crafty Individuals which have been
in my stash for quite some time as I haven't really  known how to use them.
However when I did the black/white train card with just a hint of colour
and saw how well it looked I decided to  have a go
creating a wall hanging using the same idea.

I needed bases  for the wall hanging and these two bits of card
cut from a food packaging box (which were in my stash for a rainy day)
came to the rescue !!
I thought they made good frames and only needed trimming down slightly.
CI - 179
I stamped on white card using Memento Tuexedo Black and cut to fit the frames.
I used just 3 colours of Promarkers to fill in some of the white spaces.
Then went to town on the bling.
The butterflies were originally pink  card but the wrong colour
so I re coloured with a Promarker and a little pearlescent chalk.
CI 180
Pearls and green paper cord from my stash along with the bling.

The finished hanging.

Don,t you worry one little bit about commenting here. We have our own ratty situation here and will start dealing with it tomorrow! It has rained so much here our new grass seed has rotted. We are due some sunshine for the next 2 days so it will be spent outside moving and dividing the last of the plants that were displaced last year.
Your wall hanging is wonderful. You always have such fab ideas for hangings. That bird stamp is so arty!

Well, it has birds, so you know I'm loving it! It's always so amazing how you take 'something' rather ordinary and then turn into a piece of beautiful art. Those birds and the flower framing around the image is so pretty, and of course your butterflies - can't leave those off. Wonderful wall hanging. Good luck with the ratty stuff. If it's real rats, Ugh! We're going into the season of lawn work, so once that's done, I'm tired, and motivation is minimal for other fun things! Hugs & take care.

Such a beautiful wall hanging. I would be very happy if that were on my wall. Thank you for your visit this week. My design was a straight scan of one of those transfers, so I still have the original if I ever need it. they are two pretty to hide away totally. xx Maggie
