Got me a Tree!

This is the 2nd card for this month's challenge over at Lady Anne's using the digi provided by QKR Stampede.
I have chosen to make a Joy Fold  card and have to say that I'm finding them a real joy to make! The image has been coloured with Promarkers and edged round with gold pen The Christmas papers are all by Holly Hobbie 2012 Christmas Joy Paper Collection  free with Cardmaking & Papercraft  magazine. Bakers twine from my stash  along with the snippets of red card to make the sentiment using Britannia word dies. The inserts were cut using Spellbinders 'Majestic Elements'. I used Sizzix  657552  and Xcut nesting die to cut the retaining circles.
This is the card closed with the front fold held in place by the circles with are raised on 3d pads.

When you start to open the card this is the flap you see inside.

Starting to fold the front flap down.

Front down completely showing the image.

And finally with the image flap folded up to see the inside of the card. I couldn't resist making up a  sentiment to go with the image.

Forgot to put the link in for making a Joy fold card . Split Coasters have an excellent one.

Love the way you've used the circles to hold the front fold - clever card - thanks for entering this for both CHNC challenges - and lovely that you were able to play in the Snippets playground at the same time. x

What a fun image you chose, and I will definitely check out this Joy Fold link at SCS. Trying to save instructions on the different folds, really like this one. So many different places for the eye to feast. The Majestic S/B is so very pretty on your interiors and the stripey paper is so festive & bright. Had to laugh at this cute sentiment which was spot on for your image! TFS & Hugs
