On holiday in Italy a few months back we spent 3 afternoons in a quiet cove beachcombing for
Sea Glass. This is the haul that we found along with a few shells and bits of stonework that appealed to my "I could make something with that ". The pile of glass in front of the tray was the reject pile to be left behind but of course whilst The Doc's back was turned I snucked it into the luggage anyway!
As sea glass is technically snippets of glass and its now in my stash I'm going to sneak into the playground over at Pixies Crafty Workshop and share with the girls. If anyone would like some Sea glass then just email me your snail mail and I will put some in the post to you.

Wow! What a fabulous haul. I've been collecting sea glass since I was a child but its not very abundant on North Wales beaches. The best place I've been to was Nice beach in France - my sister lives there.
Love the tag - that's a great sentiment and you've illustrated it perfectly.
Absolutely brilliant Mrs A! May I please have some sea glass to play with? It's beautiful - I do so love the clever way you used it with the sentiment - perfect!
Hugs, Di xx
You must have spent hours looking for all that pretty glass and I love what you've made with it. A perfect sentiment for this pretty tag! Next time I go to a beach, I'll be looking for glass too! hugs, Lesley

Oh Italy, one of my favorite places ever, there and Paris. I love Paris.
I am a Museum girl (can stay in there all day) so the Louvre was one of my favorite places too.

Hello!
What wonderful treasures! I clicked on the photo to see a larger picture and the stones and shells are beautiful - especially that large stone with what looks like a blue glass center. They are all wonderful - lucky girl! To spend time in Italy - what a dream! I have never seen sea glass - I would love a bit to have in my inspiration box if you have extra to share! Wishing you a happy day!
Hugs,
Barbara Diane

hi there Mrs A. ah sea glass you know the first time a blogger asked me f I hutned for sea glass alomnng our coast line I did not know what she meant - because we dont really have it - guess not in lone of seafaring boats throwing things over board like the Mediterranean and the Atlantic coastlines..I can only think of one tiny piece I have found in hours of walking on our beaches!
I was down there today with my brother who was in town and he could not believe how lovely it is (about 23C for our winter - yes that is unusual but very welcome!) think he is jealous of me living where I do, and dont blame him; would not live in the city where he does for quids..still amazed how much you found and so much green too so pretty.. mm might think about emailing you just read that bit, very kind! love Shaz in Oz.x
I can never find that much when I'm out looking.Central CA.though has more than We do in the south.I love your collection.Thank you for knowing that strange e-mail wasn't from Me :)makes me feel good-Denise
Fab glass! I have never found anything that interesting on the beach! If you've got any left can I have some please?
Super tag too - sentiment is just perfect!
Absolutely gorgeous! I hunted for sea glass and shells on many beaches, and have a bowl of them in my bathroom. I've used shells on cards before but not the glass. Love the colours you have here - so beautiful!
I would never have though of collecting bits of glass from a beach, but it looks so pretty. I know my daughter would be well into that, really her thing. I shall have to keep my eyes open in the future. Thanks for your visit and comment today. you are so right about the cost of the new belt. It is over half the original price of the whole machine, and I bet it will not last as long as the original belt did (from 1949). Hope to be back on the blogs now things seem to have calmed down a little. Life has been so busy with not much time left over even for making cards. xx
Love this sea glass - what a great find. Will you have any left for swapsies in the playground?

What a great idea. And I think you would stand out in a crowd, you are a fantastically creative young lady. I think I'll sit with my coffee and have a snoop around your blog. Have a wonderful week, and good luck...you're entered in the blog-aversary drawing.
I must admit i'm addicted to beachcombing for sea glass, each find feels like a real piece of treasure!
One question for you? How did you not go over on your weight limit with all that glass?
Lovely colours. Will have to go hunting with Dobby! Judging by the comments I doubt you have any left!
Great way to use it on your tag.
xx
There is no better an activity on the planet than beachcombing..
