Raindrops Keep Falling

Rain, rain go away and come again another day We have had nothing but rain for the past few days and the forecast for the next 48 hours is yet more of it. I found this image of 'Tilda Spring Rain' when I was looking through my box of  Tilda stamps and thought it rather appropriate to use right now.

I coloured her up using my Graph'it marker pens/silver gel pen and then thought " Hang on a mo, I had best see if I have any design papers I could match her with"!!  With a stroke of Luck/Genius  I found the cloud paper in my stash a really, really old freebie from Papercraftermagazine. It was printed on the actual  magazine paper so very thin and shiny which was why it was still in my stash unused. The small piece of green paper with the rain drops on was again a magazine freebie from Making Cards Mar 2015 called sugar and spice. The die cut frame is a Marianne Design Basic Shapes CR1334. Below is a picture taken with the overhead desk light on to show up the silver gel pen detailing.  I have not added a sentiment for the time being.

I saw the post headline on my reading list and thought this must be making it's way to Allsorts and so pleased it did, absolutely perfect for our them, thanks so much.

Yes, rain, rain and more rain, sixteen muddy paws is becoming quite a nightmare these past few weeks.

Another cute Tilda card. Another very dark and wet start to the day, quite windy too so there could be trouble holding a brolly 🤣

Very smartly dressed for all that rain she is :-) Just perfect for the Rain theme this week. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Allsorts.

You are creating some lovely cards with your cute Tilda stamps Mrs A. I always find it so satisfying to use older stamps again (and feel very virtuous for not buying a new one!) This sweet card is certainly very appropriate for our very wet spring! xx

If I had a cute umbrella like hers, I would want to walk in the rain too. This is so adorable and that silver gel pen really made this sparkle. I love those raindrops dripping off the umbrella.

Beautiful colouring of Tilda and I love the details with the silver pen. The background papers are stunning and matching so well!

This is so precious! When the Tilda images first came on the scene, I didn't like them because they had no nose or mouth, but they've grown on me now LOL Great coloring and absolutely the most perfect paper for the background!

Here no rain at all by December, and we would love some...
Beautiful card, that cloud paper is interesting, it remembers me a mimetic dress (also if the pink there isn't in mimetic patterns). Lovely details and colouring on the Tilda!

Has been very rainy here too! There is some sun right now, but more rain forecast for today. Really like the way you did the outlining with the silver maker. I can think of lots of my stamps where that would be a great treatment. Like a large flower...Thanks for the great idea.
