Time for the girls in the Christmas Card clubto show our next cards and as it is my turn to choose the theme I had best not be late for my own party. I chose Penguins.
Card 1.
I have used several dies to create this card. The circle stitched die is by Card Deco. Snowflakes are from Memory Box 'Twilight Snowflakes' and the Penguin dies are by Apple Blossom 'Snowflake Penguins. I kept to a Black/White colourway with just the green sprig of holly. No room on the front for a sentiment so I will put one inside.
Card 2.
More colour for this card. The red die cut frame is from Creative Expressions. The stamped ivy is from Inkylicious from their 'Twinchies' range. The Poinsettia die is from Ultimate crafts and again I have used the same pequin die set. The sentiment was a magazine freebie from a while ago. I struggled with this card as it just didn't look right until I added the Mummy penguin very much as an after thought. It looks rather busy now but I think it works okay.
Hope everyone in the UK weathered the Storm 'Eunice' without too much damage. We lost a concrete fence post so a 12 foot run of fencing needs to be repaired but otherwise no other damage. The house opposite us lost 6 ridge tiles from their garage roof but their fencing remained intact. The wind was certainly gusting up at high speed.
Stay safe and well
Hugs

Morning Mrs A, Great cards and I love the Penguin dies you used. Pleased you didn't suffer too much storm damage, thankfully, we've not had any damage.
Avril xx
Two really nice cards using the penguin dies - I remember having a similar die set as a magazine freebie a few years ago. Must have it in my 'Christmas Box' but it didn't get pulled out this time around which maybe goes to show I have an over abundance of seasonal 'stuff'.😉
What a nice theme you chose ValeryAnne ... the penguin you used is TOO sweet .... very nice cards xxx
Morning Valero-Anne. Two fantastic cards. Love them both. Thank you for your choice of Theme today. Gosh sounds as if the storms have hit you hard. Hugs Rita xx

You picked a great theme Mrs A. your cards are lovely- especially the first, very striking in black and white- perfect for penguins!
Glad you didn't suffer too much damage- about the same here with a fence post gone but could have been much worse!
xx
Love that penguin die and you made 2 fab cards!
Glad you hadn't much damage due to Eunice. We only had 2 plants in pot which were fallen down. We are now awaiting storm Franklin....

Hi Mrs A your cards are gorgeous. I do love those penguins. Take care. Hugs Jackie
Hi Mrs A,
2 wonderful cards made with all those lovely dies.
The large penguin is such a lovely die and your first card is fabulous.
Also a great design your second card is with the cute baby penguins and the Mamma penguin.
A fabulous poinsettia on your second card also.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Both cards look fabulous Mrs A and the die cut penguins are adorable. Striking cards, both of them. Glad that you haven't had too much damage. It's the winds (again) last night that got really stormy (again), which leads to a lack of sleep as you think the roof is gain to blow off!
Your penguins are so cute, Mrs. A! We had high winds and heavy rainfall on Friday, but we are in Canada. A tree now lays across our lower driveway and our power was off for 8 hours. That is the second tree that came down in our yard this year. Not sure what's happening but the weather is different these days, more severe. Take care and stay safe!
Wow absolutley gorgeous, great colours and brilliant designs. ♥
What a great die set and two beautiful cards . Perfect penguins. Zoe x

Two gorgeous cards Mrs A. Love the penguins and the little ones are so cute. How are you getting on with the Needle Felting Hare? Hugs, Carol S.xxx
