Out of Africa.

We have been in Africa all week over at Clarity with Barbara Gray. You can catch up with her over on You Tube with Episodes #42 - #46. I loved drawing the figures but the Elephant and her baby I found hard to scale down  enough to fit the picture and spent ages penciling in and rubbing out and in the end I just went for it.  So here is my finished doodle for this week.

Some more photos from around the garden again. This one is the other poppy I have which is a bright orange. I was gutted as about half an hr  after I had taken this photo the petals all fell off.!! There are another  two buds to come out though.

Clematis on the front wall.

White Peony in the front garden.

Keep safe and well. Remember there is no safety in numbers.

Your drawing is fab, I love the African ladies so much detail. Pretty flowers, I'm a huge peony fan they are so big and bold, sometimes a little top heavy. I have a pink one that produces flowers as big as side plates. Stay safe x

Well done for keeping up with the visit to Africa - I've watched them all in the evenings but have yet to make a start. Grand job you've done. You have some beautiful flowers in your garden - I have lots of weeds but they flower as well, although not quite as spectacular.

Hi Mrs A your sketch and your photos are gorgeous. I have enjoyed doodling Africa it has been a challenge at times. I have just posted my effort in the Clarity Worldwide group. Colouring next week which should be easier. Enjoy your garden. Hugs Jackie

WOW!!! Valery this is absolutely stunning, beautiful African ladies. I've been tuning into Barbara's tutorials, and having bought the post cards I'm colouring in the nuthatch. I've had a go at the doodles, but I'm no use at them, much prefer colouring. I am so enjoying it all.
Beautiful flowers too, Kate x

A super card Valery Anne, great image and a lovely touch with the sun and hills. Do you remember Autograph albums? well someone wrote in mine, Albums are red, albums are green but out in Afric, where I have been all bums are black. Could be classed as racist these days.

I don't know which is more beautiful - your card or your flowers. You really have a touch with the drawings. Your perspective is really good and the whole scene is just lovely. I would love to take a walk through your garden and see and smell all these gorgeous flowers.
