Qwackers!

It's Rudolph Day time again.
Hosted by Maureen on her

I was determined to use this
Penny Black stamp that I won  a while back
on Di's blog 'Pixie's Crafty Workshop'.
I hunted around on my desk
for inspiration and my eyes lighted on some
acetate packaging that embellishments
had been in and so this  Shaker Card was born.

Base card was made from gold card stock which I
put through a Crafts -Too embossing folder
called  'Twinkle'.
As there was a small lip all the way around the acetate
I used my Sizzix Scallop Rectangle to die cut a
frame to cover so that the ds tape would not show
when  I attached to the front of the card.
I used a piece of silver glitter card stock to  make the backing
for the acetate box and enclosed Doodle Loots
Crystal Mini Stars inside for the shaker element.
The stamp was coloured using my promarkers and fussy cut.
Sentiment created in word and also fussy cut out.
Gold stars from  my stash.
Close up of Caroling Duck.
Fab 'n' Funky #293 Christmas.
Addicted to Stamps #121 Die cuts (used Sizzix 657905).
Twofers Challenge #14 Anything goes.
Crafty Girlz Challenge #12 Anything goes.
Pixie's Crafty Workshop #217 Use up your snippets (acetate packaging).
Crimbo Crackers #101 Die cuts ( used Sizzix 657905).
Crafty Hazelnuts Extra # Anything goes.
Scraps Of Life #2 Rudolph Day.
Christmas Card Challenge #12 Anything goes.

Hi Mrs A
Terrific shaker card but then I'm biased as anything adorned with a duck gets my vote.
Have a great weekend.
