Proof!

Snippets begat Snippets!
O'h yes they do!
I have definitive proof .
Indeed I do!
Having made the Neon lights Christmas card
I was left with the snippets below.
I was so determined to use up all my scraps
that I made these cards.
I made use of the post notes to make the backing
for the tags and to use as extras.
Silver card blanks where in my stash
and I cut 3 Large in half to make the 6.
I used my Sizzix Alphabet and Britannia word dies
to make the sentiments.
Coated everything in a mix of SU fine glitter
in either silver or gold
and added a few matching gems here and there.

I used ds tape for the straight lines
which the glitter stuck to (erm like glue)
and PVA glue on the lettering.

Well that's gotten rid of those pesky snippets I thought.
Honestly
I only took my eye of the ball for 5 nano seconds.
They can mutate!
Not changed their colours as yet but the knowledge is out there I'm sure .
It is only a question of time.
Be very afraid!!

A fabulous way to use up all the snippets. I wish I had your ingenuity to come up with these lovely cards, if I don't do something soon about my scraps they will definitely take over my room.

Whoa! That is some very glittery neon-ness on those cards. They all came out lovely though. I love that you just had to use up your snippets. And now you have smaller snippets. We'll stay tuned to see what you make with them! Happy Rudolph Day!

What wonderful, bright cards, Mrs A! Brilliant use of snippets, too! And how I agree that snippets can mutate - I darkly suspect that they get together when I'm not looking and make baby snippets! or maybe that's just card-maker's paranoia?!

Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog about my Dad's 95th birthday card. Happy birthday to your Dad for Tuesday! What an amazing generation, they never seem to give up. Such an example for us all!

love Mags B xx

Oho yes, snippets breed in the night when you're asleep and not watching them. They should probably be stored in individual little plastic bags so that they can't get together. Pesky things. Ya have to use them up in self defence, don't you? (Mine give me bruises.)

Why can't those big sheets of beautiful paper breed in the same way?

I love how you've put these bright colours together with the dark ones - so dramatic. So... does glitter stick to post-it glue?
