Christmas Teddy.

It's time again for another card over at the Christmas Card Club.
The theme has been set by Sue P. who is asking for a
Christmas Teddy.
Now I didn't have a stamp or a digi that I could use so I resorted
to delving through my stash of recycled cards and found these cute bears.

I trimmed the card down and made layers up using navy pearlescent card
then onto a design paper by Alison Butler.
I used a silver card blank for the base.
Sentiment created  and printed from word on my computer.
Pearls and ribbon from my stash.

Finally I used up all the odds of paper and card for the inside.
Even the sentiment was one  I had made  too large for the  front of the card!
Hope this passes muster.

Entering into the following challenges:
Pixie's Crafty Workshop #133. I used up loads of snippets for this card.
Crafty Hazelnuts Extra #  Anything  goes Christmas.
Me and Mine # Beat the Rush.
The Glory of Christmas #37 Anything goes.
Crafty Boots# Christmas in July.
Simply Create Too #65 Christmas in July

Great recycled/upcycled card Mrs A. Lovely image. Some cards are just too nice to get rid of so it's great to be able to use parts of them for other cards isn't it? Hugs Christine xx

Looks wonderful. I too had to use a recycled image. Always feels good to rescue a sweet image and give it a new life.

The papers you chose are so pretty. The stars are perfect with this sweet teddy. I see you are finishing up your inside of card so pretty too. Mine resolve to do that fell by the wayside when I started my 50 card stash challenge.

I really need to sit for a few evenings and finish up the insides...you are inspiring me!

Love the image and the fact that you recycled it from an old Christmas card, nothing better than 2 for 1.
Lovely details and embellishments too.

What a darling card Mrs A! Cute and great use of snippets too.

Trying to resist committing murder here - local village idiot alongside us to the right and up a bank didn't put his handbrake on car properly and guess where it ended up? Grrrrrrrrr. Hence late hopping round due to all the gubbins of sorting out - and popping Valium!!

Hugs, Di xx

Such a darling card Mrs A, super upcycling, I need to save old Christmas cards too, I usually throw them in the bin when I grow tired of Christmas.

Warm hugs
