For Dad.

Thank you for all your kind comments regarding my Mum.
Each and every one has been much appreciated.
Dad has now been told but how much he took in we don't know. He has not asked or talked about Mum since so hope that he has accepted it in one small part of his world.
I wasn't going to post this as I still do not feel up to blogging  but the card was made ages ago and the post had been sitting in my scheduled list.
This is the card I made for my Dad for Father's Day.
SU card stock used for the base
I used an old recycled card for the image which I think he will enjoy looking at.
The letters were cut from the leftover SU card stock using
Sizzix Alphabet die 656133.
Picture die cut using Spellbinders 'Romantic Rectangle'
and mounted on white card.
I used my mini Hougie board to emboss the raised  lines around the edges.

Hi Mrs A
The card has ducks so how can it be anything other than fabulous, but then I could be biased!
Hope you are all coping in your own way.
With all good wishes.

Hi Mrs A, sorry I haven't visited for so long, been on holiday and generally catching up with other things. I'm so very sad to hear about your Mum. You did use to make me laugh with your stories about your Mum and Dad and I hope you'll have all those lovely memories to hold dear to your heart. Maybe it's a blessing if your Dad doesn't actually realise what's happened.

I'm thinking of you all at this very sad time. Take care xxxxxx

What a nice card with a manly feel to it. I'm sure your dad appreciated it and is happy to have something so lovely to look at.
