K is for Knots.

The current letter over at the Craft Barn is K.  Not a lot of pages in the dictionary for that letter  to choose from  but I have finally settled on  Knots as my word.
Page has been given a wash of match pot paint Willow Tree.
The rope paper was a freebie in a magazine.
Letter k is a freebie and can be found here.
Cord from my stash.

I learnt how to tie the different knots from here.
Entering into the following Challenge:
The Craft Barn: Alpha challenge letter K.

Lovely and a bit unusual...oh how I love the unusual. Knot and knotting is a science!
I live with a sailor and so I get him to do knots if I need any done. They are complicated, aren't they?

How fun to actually tie some knots for your K page. Reminds me of summer camp learning to tie knots. Then of course the macrame years...oh the knots I created. Safe Holiday Weekend dear...

What a gorgeous page! Love all the knots you did to illustrate the word. Yes, there are not many words to choose from, but it was a 'challenge' and I loved it ... :-)
Stunning work. Suzanne

What a fun "K" word, Mrs. A! All that knotty business kept you out of trouble and your mind busy!

I am "knot" making an alphabet journal, maybe when I get home from vacation I'll think about it, I love hopping around seeing what you gals have made. "Knot" ever a dull moment with you on the playground. Thanks for retrieving the piece of wool. I hope Miss never puts in security cameras!

I can think of something else you could have done with K, all you would have needed to stick down was a bottle of white lightening and a bluey! That said, love the knot theme! X
